Renault and Nissan, as said above, share engines, platforms and other components quite heavily.
I was just pointing out that it was rather amusing to be so anti Renault but pro Nissan when the reality is that they are becoming two sides of the same coin..
Totally agree, but on the other side Nissan's reputation seems to have been taking a real tanking. How old is the P12 Primera now and no replacement it was a good car all in all. It seems to be Electric, micro, small, small MPV or 4x4. Exception of sports of course.
Shame really as cars like the Primera were a million times more reliable than the Laguna.
