YOU GUYS TOOK ONE HELL OF A BEATING

Nice to see us dominate at sport we invented!

Can Broady now be considered as being better then 'poor to average' now?

The stick he got on this forum before this series on here! ;)

-edit-
Indian fans booing their team as they collect their series medals ..

Incredible.

I'm a little sad that Sachin didn't get his hundred, but that was another incredibly dominate performance from England. India have been comprehensively outplayed through the series.

Superb effort by England really good to see England doing well in a popular sport. England football team take note!

Id agree again with Broad been man of series

Unlucky India and very unlucky Tendulkar for not getting his 100th century.

Superb demolition job by England though, definitely deserve their number 1 status fully. They have been by far the best team in this series and India need to ask themselves some serious questions because other than Dravid, none of them looked like they really wanted to be here.

Broad definitely my man of the series...hes become a stunning bowler.

To be honest I think England have been the best team for a while now, that's just me.

For the past yr??..definitely...will be interesting to see if they can keep up their momentum now and start a dynasty of their own like the Aussies did for so many yrs.

Im not a huge England cricket fan but i am proud and glad that they are the number 1 team...took them bloody long enough to get there but they got there in style:p....Andy Flower has been truly immense for us as England coach...manages to get the best out of the players.

Whitey prevails over darky. Would you expect any less from him?

Cool series bro

England batted 6 times in 4 Tests and declared 4 times. Lolworthy.

Some more stats of win - England scored 2809 runs for 47 wickets at just under 60 average versus India who managed 2,044 for the loss of 80 at an average of 25. Dominant.

There are only three Indian batsmen in the top ten run scorers this series, and that's only because Morgan was a bit rubbish and Broad only got 4 innings to bat in.

Broad averaged 60.66 with the bat, and 13.84 with the ball. Absolutely immense.
