England V India ***Clash of the Heavyweights*** Test, T20 and ODI Series

Very well played by Dhoni. From what i hear the pitch is very good though, so i'm not sure its enough to get them back in the game?

Strauss and Cook's turn to get some runs now then

Really want to see Strauss and Cook to go on and score big, they've both been a bit off form this series. Strauss especially is due a decent knock.

Hardly a catch was it?

England to get 600+ by day 3. Only thing positive for India is that there is no Trott.

Have you seen the replay then? Cause he stretched his hands out towards it. Didn't see where the ball ended up though...? Stuck in his jumper was it?

Sreesanth was blowing after the first ball, so unfit. Dhoni drops a dolly at keeper...no edge luckily.

Looked like he covered up in self-preservation to me, especially given he was turning away from the ball, you don't normally do that when catching.

I hope Strauss gets a ton. I think he gets some undue criticism sometimes, when in fact he has generally been a very reliable opener and captain imo. He's a very calssy player when he gets going (actually, all Englands top order are!)

How many days haven't been England's so far? Apart from the first day at Trent Bridge, the only other day close is India making it to the stumps on day 4 at Lords with only one wicket lost.

This has been pretty damned painful for them.

"In five innings in the series, India have yet to reach 300"

that's ridiculous, they've hardly been playing on minefields :/
