Yeah I agree I'm enjoying it, its just a slightly alien feeling lol. It must be very demoralising for India when they see 429 on the board and just the sheer depth of batting ability still to come. It's staggering really that there's only really jimmy who can bat like a demon.

What were Sri Lanka doing batting to the end of play? At least try to win.

That series was basically played on a sponge mattress, just under 2,900 runs in 2 matches between the two teams and 46/80 potential wickets takenWhat were India doing bowling under arm?

As an England fan I'm actually disappointed at how crap this test series has been!
Was looking forward to something resembling the 05 Ashes where 2 teams slugged it out in every test seeing as this is supposed to be 2 of the top 3 in the world playing.
India just haven't turned up, the batsmen are undercooked and out of form, the bowlers are either injured or crap and their general attitude in the field is terrible.
It's still hard to get used to seeing England winning as easy as this I'm used to us being useless for most of my lifetime!

As expected, it's been some serious destruction. India have been awful.
Bit disappointed Bell didn't get a ton on his home ground, his innings was a bit of an odd one but it's fair to say he got out to an absolute peach!
As for decleration, why would you bother declaring when there are 9 sessions left? The wicket is going to start to really turn days 4-5, why bother setting India 300-400 to chase when it's possible we might have to bat again on a tricky wicket?
I wouldn't consider declaring before 5pm tomorrow, unless there's sudden change in the forecast. Make sure we won't have to bat again whilst grinding them down chasing the ball in the field. I'd like to see us reach 700 tomorrow, and unless India have one hell of a morning session it's looking quite likely.
