I didn't watch it but glad I didn't after reading this thread. I seem to remember England looking a lot stronger going into the last world cup, Crouchy boy scoring lots of goals and doing his robot dance celebrations. I know the competition of Mexico and Japan is stronger but it's not really the mentality you want before a major competition where you are eeking wins due to own goals.

I don't know whats wrong with the attitude of you lot :/

You just jump on the first mistake England make, instantly.

Whatever happened to blind belief? Get behind your national team? :/

Experimental lineups, formation changes....

God damn.

Isn’t it these types of performances and games we always lost or at best drew? At least now when we seem to play rubbish we are scoring and winning these games, to me this a good sign?

Not really bothered by the result or performance today, the most important thing was no real injuries, by the look of things anyway.
That means we've still got all the players who did so well in qualifying available :)

... and forget that it's only a practice game. What do you expect them to do in the last game before selection and a World Cup tournament.

I do wonder if this is the first time some people have seen pre-tournament games before a World Cup.

The team is uninjured and ready to go. Get a grip people.

If anyone trolls in the WC spoiler threads they'll be having their FS access removed for the whole tournament. \o/

I wasn't going to say it was a friendly because knowing these lot think a friendly is a SERIOUS indicator and how we will perform in REAL matches.

It's just sad to see complete lack of belief in our team :(

These friendlies were auditions, auditions for the players and for Capello to judge them...

Side note, i hope Joe Cole makes it and i reckon Adam Johnson could do some damage, bit young though.

Own Goals, what a player, should have been a contender for player of the season and he's continuing his fine form into the World Cup. On a more serious note, Walcott should not be anywhere near the final 23, and Lennon should always be played on the right.

Saw the same old problem we always have, our defenders thinking they can hit 60 yard wonderballs from defence and giving the ball away.

Rather than playing it simple and trying to build an attack.

Honestly cant even see us beating the USA, we will qualify though but in second then go out.
