England vs Eqypt - **Spoilers**

its a lack of movement in the centre midfield thats the problem.. no closing down the players - barry and lampard seem very lazy. they are too assured of their place and dont fight enough to regain possession,

also our counter attacks are poor and slowed down constantly...
 
Has Theo ever, once, ever, managed to make 3 touches on the ball without one of them being so bad it gets a good 10-15 yards ahead of him?

THe only time I've seen him maintain close control is that one time against Liverpool, every other good thing he's done(and there hasn't been much) its 1-2 touches and a shot, max, he was appauling in the Croatia game with the ball everywhere on the pitch, but give him the ball in the box, 1 touch and shot, or just a shot and he's just about passable as a footballer.
 
this keeper looks dodge to %^&* the way he dropped rooneys low blow and his diving header?!!?! made me think we should be letting loose with some 30 yard drilled shots...with lampard, gerrard and barry in the midfield you'd think one of them could muster something!
 
Lampards been involved in most of the best moves, aswell as the fact, again that he's being played as a DM and he's "taking one for the team" and not playing his usual role.

Considering Gerrard is playing his usual role(or as good as) and basically Lampards normal role, and Gerrard has been entirely useless and involved in nothing, work out whose playing badly.

Gerrard off, Walcott off, two real wingers(or the closest we have to them) and Rooney and Defoe upfront.

What will likely happen is Walcott off, Rooney upfront, Defoe for a "big man" , and Gerrard told to go play out left, however he'll likely continue playing exactly where he is.
 
This is the sort of play that will really frustrate Rooney, and he'll drop deeper and deeper to see the ball. Midfield is non existent at the moment.

Yes, but Hart wouldn't help much I don't think;)

England need to get loose, throw some shots at Egpyt until they break and stop aiming high balls at the smallest striker in history.
