You do know La liga and the premier league are FAR above international quality football? Likewise Parker has played for England for basically a year and been alongside Young and before Wilshire's injury, England's best three performers with ease.
What could possibly make a player good enough for the premier league, where Parker has put in great performances against any team in the league at some stage, but not good enough at international level?
Holland were great in the world cup against awful teams, were rather rubbish against Brazil, who themselves were pretty rubbish and Melo decided to take Brazil out of the competition and then Holland were utterly outplayed in the final and resorted to assault football.
International football hasn't for donkeys years, and from now on will NEVER beat out club level football. A team that plays 70 games, practices 5 times a week won't be outdone by a team that plays 10 games a year and practices 2-3 times in only 2-3 weeks in the season.
