England warm up games **Spoilers**

i think your being a bit harsh on Walcott, when he did get hold of the ball he moved with good pace and his passing was ok, he look comfortable on the ball (alright he didnt see much of it) but if he plays 90 minutes i recon he'd put some away.
Hes got a nimbleness about him that resembles Christiano Ronaldo, in the way his feets seem very pointy, on his toes constantly. (hard to explain)
Best player on the pitch for me was Joe cole.

ashley cole and jole cole really impressed me tonight, our left side really is lethal imo

i feel dirty for saying this but i thought crouch was quite good 2nite (note i would have wrote this even without his goal)

i cant see why to bring on hargreaves

i still stand by my predicition of gerrard running rampant in the world cup

walcott still needs more match time to impress me, not that im slagging him off

I think ian wrights got it wright.........

Hargreaves must know something dodgy about sven..............can be the only plausible explanation for why he's in the squad :D

I agree, there must be some reason for Sven playing that carthorse, it certainly isn't for his ability and it's really winding me up now, WAKE UP SVEN!!!!!!

Dont know about Wright agreeing with diving though, because people do it to us, doesnt mean we should, thats gona start really making the game silly.
2 wrongs dont make a wrighty :D

seems to want to play players like this so it will look like a master stroke if they do summit good. they never gone do anything to awful from midfield or upfront (walcott cough*)

Sven OUT

They didnt like old ashely cole tbh they tried to take him down at any given oppurtunity very good game for him to and joe cole. And i agree with most of the comments about walcott he did the best he could with what he got, most of the time we never really had the ball down that end attacking by time he was on so he rarely got the chance to do anything. Does look very comfortable on the ball tho even considering the circumstances can only be good

*edit*

and lol at ian wrights comment on the diving its true tho in big tournies like this we get robbed because of other teams doing this to us! So time we do it back, if they get away with it and win then bewarned england team have been to drama class :D

England will not win the World Cup. Fact.

Thank you oh wise and powerful one. Am i gona win the lottery? Jesus even mystic meg puts you to shame, go ask uri gellar for advice on how to suck.

I don't think Hargreaves is a bad player in terms of club football, he's one of those types of players you need in club football, he can play in several positions. However he's not England Quality, heck I'd rather Phil Neville was playing instead of him

I really dont see why we need this holding position malarky.
England children always play 4-4-2 from the day they can kick a ball, its only natural to continue that and im probably wrong here, but it probably one of the most used formation in the premiership.

Its a classic proven formation, and one england does well. I say play it sven.
Anyone want to kidnap sven and replace him with me in a mask :D

The first 40 mins of tonights game felt more like an hour :( Becks then came to life with his passing and all of a sudden we were playing good footy, and should have been at least 1 up by half time. I one respect I can see where Wrighty is coming from, as all of the big countries always con the ref for a pen, but it a dive like that in the WC and Gerrard would be carded, although the defender didn't help himself by going in 2 footed.

Hardgreaves is about 2 mins too late all the time, and like Walcott was a bit out of his depth, but Walcott has potential, and in the coming years can be a star for both club & country, while Hardgreaves is just a club player.

I would have liked to see both Carrack & Lennon play at some point tonight, as I feel they have a lot to offer England, let just hope Sven plays them both on Saturday, but knowing Sven.....

Well after watching that match, it is was better than our last.

Beckham was fantastic, ok so he don't run down the wing and take players on and he didn’t make bums stand up out of their seats like Lennon would but, Lennon is not capable of producing balls like we seen tonight that can win us games. In fact I don't think anyone is on that right wing.

I find it funny that people think Lennon should start ahead of Becks, that’s just a joke but each to their own I guess.

Imo Gerrard > Lampard. I would drop Lampard and play Carrick (will probably get slated for this) but I don't think Lampard is all that great for England, I really can't see what the fuss is about.

Everyone knows what Stevie G is capable of. Our team should be built around him imo and if I were England manager I would make him captain without doubt. He would be a great driving force behind our team and command both attack and defence from the middle of the park

Ashley Cole also impressed tonight considering he has just come back from injury. Another plus was Joe Cole who has officially made that left side his.

Crouch is another that always gets slated but he's not really done much wrong when he comes on. Great finish today - He provides something different to our team.

And nice to see Terry pop up for England…. More of the same please!

Good match, not great - can hopefully only get better!

Edit: Oh and Hargreaves needs to be dropped and replaced with Defoe imo

LMAO Doohickey nice one!
