Disgraceful performance, leadership and management.

Kuyt should have been hauled off at half time, Gerrard didn't show any drive as the captain and that's 4th pretty much gone if Villa can get 6pts+ out of their 3 games in hand.
 
Awful just pure awful going to need allot of luck to get 4th spot this year and pains me to say that. Wigan deserved their win tonight they were better on every front.

Rafa brought Kuyt off far too late should have come of at half time or 60th min at latests, Im half expecting rafa to blame the new pitch for some of it as he never comes out and just says we performed bad
 
Deserved win for Wigan tbh. They played the better football and looked more likely to get a second than us a first.

Can't imagine the excuse Rafa will hide behind to justify that disgrace. The end of the season and his departure can't come soon enough :mad:

Edit: Word on Gerrard. **** off in the summer please.

THere was one point later in the first half were Gerrard was holding his arms up asking for someone to make a run, got pee'd off, stopped, let the ball run to Lucas and just walked off seemingly shouting about no one showing themselves for a long ball. Thing is, there was no one in front of him, he just seemed completely and utterly unwilling to run with the ball and force the game, which is something thats dragged Liverpool through many bad performances over the years.

He just didn't seem to care or want to bother. He had chances to try and drive the game and didn't bother, but when he could go in recklessly he went right at it. The whole team seems in the wrong mentality and they all know Rafa's off, they can't make 4th, they won't play a decent starting squad or formation and that theres really very little chance of it working.


N'Zogbia had a very good game, as did Figueroa and Boyce, others had a decent game and frankly, not causing Gary Caldwell problems is embarassing with some of the players Liverpool have.

5 yellows and maybe deserved more, sticking two fingers up at the ref, 3 shots on target and a defensive formation, Liverpool seemed like the Bolton from a few years ago going away to kick the crap out of the opposition rather than a top 4 side trying to win against a side with horrible form.

not a lot to be said about this. Serious trouble ahead at Anfield if we don't make Champions League. Some big name players will be sure to be sold to make up the cash defecit it will leave...

And is Drunkenmaster Sam Allardyce in disguise? I am sure he made the same comment about Liverpool playing like Bolton did...
 
^ To be honest your negativity isn't helping anyone. If, instead you could provide some constructive critism then maybe Liverpool could adapt their gameplay to your recommendations and win everything.

He's single handedly guided Liverpool to most of their triumphs in the years he's been playing and now he's had a poor season hampered with injuries you want shot of him? Unbelievably harsh on him, especially as the just about every other player is just as bad at the moment.

He's the captain of the team and all season his captaincy has consisted of berating teammates. He's meant to inspire them and drive them on to success but instead has chosen to sulk and let games pass him by. He looks like he couldn't care less and has done for months. I'd happily flog him and give the captains armband to Mascherano should he stay in the summer.

I think Wigan are big underachievers tbh, with player's like N'Zogbia and Rodallega they really shouldn't be facing relegation IMO. Liverpool however.... :p
