English & CL Football [6th - 10th Mar 2010] **spoilers**

I said way back in the summer Real wouldn't even get into the semis, I'm not surprised. Well done Lyon.

Milan need a new DM. Whoever it was playing for them in that position tonight was atrocious. Offered his defence no protection at all.

I completely forgot. :o

Take that Flamini you mercenary money grabbing ****!:p

Calm down, I was disagreeing with the lazy term 'easily beaten' when Man Utd didn't look like scoring from open play for the whole game really, not a fair assessment of the game.

to be fair though, neither did Arsenal. The goal itself was a superb bit of skill from Arshavin but other than that Van Persie is the only other chance I remember them having. Lots of possession as usual but nothing from it.

Milan have a great team that is uytterly let down by the tactics they play, you just can't play at the highest level with 3 players that are never going to get back (3 from Ronaldinho, Huntelaar, Boriello and Pato usually)

Aye Shamikebab they have huuuuge holes, dinho does no tracking back at all just stands about half way line+ waiting.

Other downside is when they go behind they seem to lose belief and kinda give up :/

Great UTD win but not an overally great Milan.

Looking forward to the Chelsea vs Inter one, was glad to see Jose go attack, attack, attack last time around he knew he had to win it there basically. Inter are no slouches either at the back should be very tough for Chelsea.

I like what's happening to Real, it's poetic. They have no class and deserve no better. Their pursuit of Ronaldo was a disgrace

the times we spanked you earlier in the season, were you a team in decline?

;)

LOL i dont know but AC Milan are in decline thats the truth and if you cant see that then it just reinforces my opinion about Man Utd fans...

Just because they aren't the strongest team in Europe, they're still well up there and they have some players of real quality and experience at the highest level of competition.

Bit off topic, I would have liked to have seen Ferguson stay on the pitch and shake Beckhams hand, the guy clearly loves man utd and still thinks highly of Ferguson.

Oh well.

Glad to hear Real are out, but as someone else said above, it really REALLY would have been awesome to have Man Utd play Real Madrid.

I see Gerrard is going to get away with swearing at the ref, what a shock. After all he gets away with diving on a seemingly weekly basis. What else is he allowed to do now? push players over? kick defenders legs?
