Incident conveniently edited out of MOTD highlights but I was amazed at the time he only got a talking to. Should've been off. There was no element of a tackle involved, Rooney simply gave De Jong a kick because he'd lost the ball.
Dont pretend Terry gets better treatment than your own England international players, it's already been admitted that refs are instructed to go easy on England players so as not to damage their confidence ;).

Rooney makes no contact with De Jong, he waves his foot at him and De Jong falls over, thats why he doesnt get carded.

Terry on the other hand would never get a run of more than two games at a time were the rules of the game actually applied to him, he is almost as bad as Carragher for unpunished handballs, pulling players down, shirt pulling, not getting the ball in the box tackles etc etc.

Wow title race is now wide open:eek:...wasnt expecting Chelski to slip up against the Spurs and neither was i expecting that ginger nuut scholes to score a last sec winner lol.

Anyhow looks like RVP might start against Wigan...can only hope he scores a few as he definitely should have scored a couple against Spurs. Hopefully come away with 3pts today for us to keep up the pressure on Utd and Chelski although still cant see us winning the title now...if we hadnt lost to Spurs then yes we were still in there...buit nothings certain this season thats for sure.
 
What a pathetic display, after we blundered our way past Bolton you'd think we'd at least tried to up our game a bit, well played Spuds though.
I said there was more left in the race yet after Blackburn did us a favour and many were congratulating Chelsea prematurely, Chelsea fans will tell you it's never that simple with us.
 
Pretty weak lineup from Arsenal - I'd have probably have started with Eboue on the right rather than Walcott but not a lot else we can do considering the injuries. Hopefully VP can come on after an hour or so and score a goal or two.
 
Wenger states a 'wrist injury'. The Spurs game really might've been his last game for us. Feel sorry for him really as he comes accross as a really nice bloke, unfortunately made too many mistakes that have cost us points this season.

As much as I hate saying, but, well done spurs. Two great results against the ARSE and Chelsea. 2 DVD's for you to buy there. I hope they're able to do the same against Man UTD.
 
Game started...not looking forward to this...think Wigan will make difficult for us...already a corner and luckily it went straight through...defence looks clueless as ever:(.
 
**** me Walcott is just utter rubbish...should have had a handball but Walcott cant shoot for ****...and Diaby needs to pick up his game but yes i can see it being one of those games.

These damn injuries have really decimated our squad...we dont win this and 3rd place for us is under threat as we have City next week and i think we are going to be hammered by them:(.

Which he has a lot of but cant seem to control his pace, either he runs too fast or runs too slow and does a good job of running into defenders rather than try to go around them.

Wish Wenger would get rid of him along with a few others in the squad.

Yeah, I've seen him try and run so fast that he goes through the defender instead of past them, quite amusing :p
