English League & European Football [27th Mar - 1st Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Good win and a good performance. Only downside was Babel. He had so much time and space and produced absolutely nothing all game. Should've had a few goals and assists today.

Torres = hero

20 goals in 29 apps this season - disgusting!

Pretty scary considering his injury problems and the fact that his finishing's been far from great since his return from injury; could have had 4 more today, at least another against Utd and 3 vs Wigan too.

3 weeks ago I thought Liverpool had no chance of getting 4th but looking at the run ins of them, Spuds & Citeh they've got a great chance now:(

Not all fans. Some fans were saying when the rumours started flying around about how he would not fit into the side, how he didnt score enough goals, how he didnt have the pace, and how he lacked the work ethic and commitment to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
It took some people longer than others to see it.
Some people are not swayed by one good match in ten, even ferguson doesnt trust him enough to play him in the big games now, although it took him long enough to see it, just like its taken him long enough to see that Nani needs games and not dropping for two and three months at a time to get the best of him.
He still doesnt see that he is entirely right footed though, give him long enough though......
Don't worry mate, I don't think anyone was silly enough to think you would have been positive.

I am positive, it was a great result, considering United had their best player and second best defender missing.
Bolton made it easy though, they gave up completely in the second half, just look at the marking and the tracking back for the 3 goals, its non existent.

Berbatov took his two goals well, I've already said that over the past couple of months he has been less bad, what more do you want me to say?
Something completely made up like he is now justifying his £30.5 million pound price tag? Pretend he is galloping around the field like a racing horse and going in on tackles like Roy Keane mark 2?
He has put a couple of decent shifts in and hasnt been completely hopeless recently, thats about all you can say.
Praise where praise is due, when he does it game in game out then I'll say it.

I think Liverpool were very good today. How they didn't score more is quite beyond me. Torres could've had 5 himself!

The first 25-30minutes were as good as we've played in as long as I can remember; even better than we were playing this time last year. Not only could have Torres scored 5 but Agger could have scored 3 in the first 30minutes too.

I can't help but hate Maxi Rodriguez at the moment, every single game I watch he'll always go to ground as if he's been shot from point blank range with a sawn off shotgun.

Today, he goes down holding his face and the replay clearly shows he was caught on the neck.

Aye it is. Such a fantastic opportunity to see how far away Arsenal are from being the best, suppose it's only fair that Barca have a top team out. Very priviliged to be able to see this game, such a shame we can't see two full strength XI's

A bit worried about the Newcastle Forest match this evening.

It's one of the few 6 pointers we've had to play this season and our undefeated home record is on the line. Forest are one of only two teams left that can 'do the double' over us and I have a horrible feeling that if Forest do it, it will give Blackpool the confidence to go on and do the same thing. It's even more critical as West Brom are getting so close (despite our game in hand).

Hopefully my fears are unfounded but it's going to be a nerve wracking night.
