English League & European Football [27th Mar - 1st Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Played to newcastle tonight.

Cracking game from both sides to be fair, a game for the football purists.

Newcastle were the best iv'e seen them all season, forest were amazing at the back, countering virtualy everything coming their way.

No shame as a forest fan losing the game tonight. Can't say as i rate shola, guys more luck than judgement, but his goal was worthy of wining any match.

Grats on Chris hutton on getting it right, certainly grabbing wayne routledge was a decent bit of buisness, and getting jonas to play as an out and out winger over a cul de sac inside forward on the other side has realy opened up play for a faster high tempo game.

Gl for next season, you'll need a decent guy up top coming in, but andy carroll looks a keeper, shame he took an injury tonight, was looking forward to watching him match up against wilson and wes, two of the best in the league.

Yes, I'll be really interested to see how we perform in the Premier league, going into it full of confidence by winning the championship (probably) will see how good these lads really are...

The team has done so well this year, without ruining the squad, just getting in a few and rid of a few, it seems to be just right at the minute

Fabregas has missed training. :D

Id be surprised if he doesnt play but if he doesnt its not the end of the world for us, id rather him sit out than injure himself further;)...at least Gallas will be back so will strengthen up our shaky defence.

Fabregas is playing. For me though, Diaby is the crucial player. He needs to be fit and needs to play well for Arsenal to have a chance

Gallas is back :o? For real?

I hope Fabregas plays and I think Henry is going a bit overboard with this 'I don't think I can play against Arsenal' sentiment.

#Arsenal boss Wenger says Gallas 'has a chance of playing.' Also confirms Diaby, AA23, Nasri all ok

:D? If Diaby, Gallas, Cesc and Nasri are all fit then it'll be a competitive game at least

Not really...hes one of our best loved players at Arsenal and i can sympathise his feeling that he doesnt want to play but i imagine he will either start or come off the bench...i just hope he doesnt score hand or no hand lol.

Will be weird seeing him back at Arsenal albeit in another teams jersey though....am looking forward to the game...at least it will be a proper game of football unlike some of the teams that like ot hack down ARsenal because they cant quite deal with their pace.

On another note i hope Bayern get a result against Utd...cant see it in all honesty but can only hope and wish that Utd trip up tonight.

Get over it, you're not even Irish!

LOL relax Jakeke...thats all they have against Henry and even then the handball was a mistake that should have been noticed by the ref's;)...its not down to Henry to tell the ref to cancel out the goal.

He's a Barcelona player now, he's showing disrespect to his fellow Barcelona players and their fans by stating things like that. You can show respect to your former club without gushing like a big baby about not wanting to play against them.

Cheating and unsporting, referees can't spot everything, it's about time players were more honest.

I agree with you that players should be more sporting and honest but sadly it doesnt happen and wont happen simple as that...as long as theres trophies or places in the WC finals to play for. When was the last time you saw a player be sporting and honest??...i havent see much of it.

Still it happened and was dealt with...maybe not to the poor Irish satisfaction.
