If Man U get to CL final, 10 games so he needs just under 1 per game. If they get knocked out in 2nd leg (least amount of games) - he needs 1.3 per game. With Blackburn, Sunderland and Stoke (at home) as the weaker teams left- he is well on course

Not sure it would really bother me nor would it bother most fans. I doubt when it was really Arsenal or UTD a few years ago it bothered UTD fans that Beckham was a Londoner. Or for more traditional rivalries, it doesn't bother me that Sol (our best CD for a few years) came from Spurs, nor that Bentley's now there.
