English League & European Football [2nd Apr - 8th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Once again a ref hands Chelsea a goal after the joke of a goal at Stamford Bridge, not surprised.

In the end though, we played all wrong, Fergie once again picked his team to stop the opponent rather than playing to our strengths. Nani should have started.

As much as I like seeing utd getting beaten, I feel it was pity the goal they lost to shouldn't have been given.

Still as said above, they didn't really look to be at the races until the 2nd half.

Deserved victory overall I guess...although 2nd goal was a mile off, Macheda's goal was never gonna be given a handball, hit his stomach about 1m away, not even sure it hit his arms in the end either? Neville is absolutely **** though. Interesting season now :D

A step closer to the title:

...........P..GD..PTS
Chelsea 33 54 74
Man Utd 33 50 72
Arsenal 32 40 68

Berbatov can **** right off this summer to some team who will cart him round the pitch in a buggy.

What exactly could he have done? We've seen against Bolton and Wolves that Berbatov cannot play up front with no support, so Fergie does it again for our biggest match. It's Fergies fault that he can't see what is blindingly obvious to the rest of us (I even pointed it out before the first time we tried it) and then he waits until 10 mins before the end to change things!

And it looked like Macheda's hit his stomach to me

Why not? Because United scored it?

Looked like a handball.

From the replays it MAY have brushed against his arm, it didn't guide it into the net and largely came off his chest.

I'm not being biased, we didn't deserve to win it, although we played almost as well as Chelsea did in the first half, in the second.

Actually thought Berbatov did well today, considering he had nothing to feed off, about two good deliveries all game, rest were terrible - especially Neville's.

He was about 1m away, hit his stomach, and brushed his swinging arm, if that was given against him it would have been unbelievably harsh, for any team.

So?

It was a handball.

United fan above saying it was an awful decision to allow the Drogba goal, but then not have any problems with allowing a hand ball?

Both shouldn't have being given, but were. Two more bad decisions.

poor decision but cant do anything about it, chelski have 2 tough game still with liverpool and spurs, so not all over for us yet.

The performance doesnt reflect your opinion so far :p

Man Utd just lost against a good Chelsea side and Man Utd are therefore a 1 man team?

If anything, the fact that Chelsea failed to dominate, didn't really deserve a win, shows the opposite.

Yes you are being biased.

It hit his hand - handball.

Drogba was offside.

United weren't good enough.

It's whether or not it was deliberate, which it wasn't.

Chelsea denied a penalty too, so that cancels out the offside goal.

Plus the Henry-like handball.

Fair result

I said I don't think it was a handball, bearing in mind, it would only be visible on a replay, probably not to the linesman or referee.

A player being CLEARLY 2 yards offside is what I have a problem with.

But as I said already, we didn't really deserve to win, but perhaps deserved a draw.
