English League & F.A. Cup Football [10th Apr - 14th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

A Hat Trick of Quotes.

3 Quotes for the 3 goals that Spurs will get. :p:p:p & 3 smileys.

4-1 to Arsenal.

Without Palacios, Spurs will be sunk easily. :(

Even worse, I'm going drinking with some dirty gooners before the match.

anything but wins here on in for either Man U or Arsenal will effectively hand the title to Chelsea, even wins will probably not be enough at this point.

Need to win this Arsenal...a draw or a loss wouldnt be good for us.

Hopefully we will spank the Spuds 4-1 or something silly like that...just more pain to grind into them after they got beat by Portsmouth at the weekend in the FA cup:p.

But honestly its not a game im looking forward to as we have a lot of injuries at the moment but at least RVP is back...fingers crossed he gets a hattrick:D

We (Spurs) need to win tonight to keep hopes of Champions League football alive. If Tottenham don't win tonight I will be bitterly disappointed.

Even more when you consider whose playing who, City are playing, well the top 5 aren't they, except Chelsea.

Spurs have to face City, Arsenal and Chelsea. Liverpool really only have Chelsea as far as I can tell.

The biggest problem is that Spurs have pretty much been a complete failure against the top 4-5 for years, so you can't see them taking many points, and City have been incredibly strong against the top 5 this year, so I could actually see them taking points, maybe all of them, against Arsenal, Spurs and Utd.

The fixtures still to come, its surprising just how influencial City could be on the whole top 5. Spurs vs City in the second last game of the season will probably be the most important game though, it will likely decide the CL spot.

Chelsea to win the league with a let off penalty  (Or two)

Really disappointing when its the last few games and things were getting interesting and that happens.

Hopefully Arsenal get a few decisions go their way tonight :p

On the Man City topic of CL. I think if they grab the last spot this year it will be enough to get the (greedy) big time players over here. I wonder how many will say they have been fans of them all along lol

Both teams have injuries but Arsenal can deal with theirs much better than Spurs, can't see Arsenal losing but the NLD's are usually a bit weird so I suppose anything could happen. Going to be good

Apparently under Wenger Spurs have never beaten us in the league. I think this year is really their best chance to do it.

RvP could be back and I'm undecided whether he should play. Unlike Barcelona and Gallas, we have Bendtner who seemingly isn't too bad up front, so it's easier to think about not playing the Dutchman. If he were to pick up something that means he'd miss the rest of the season, that'd be annoying and well, unsurprising I suppose. This game will be very physical too and noting how often our players get injured we can't unfortunetly do a bit of the old 'throw them in at the deep end' guff. Bendtner's also got a good record against Spurs and is in form.

I guess it's one of those rivalries that can grow apart if the two teams in question move away from each other. Even though I grew up in a classroom mostly of Spurs or Arsenal I've always considered UTD, Chelsea and 'Pool to be bigger rivals.

If they do beat us then they bloody better beat Chelsea too. :p

We're to be beaten by a 3 goal margin.

Of course, I'm hoping for another 5-1 win, but our current squad is nothing compared to the workrate of the team we had then.

Should never have sold Malbranque and Tainio.

How ever bad Arsenals form is Spurs will always out do us, previous two game losing to Sunderland and Portsmouth. Spurs don't deserve to be in Europe. Should be a good game to be fair, think Arsenal will win buy 1 goal, maybe a late one to rile the spurs fans into shouting we we're robbed :)

Of course, I'm hoping for another 5-1 win.

Yeh that was in the league cup where we had most if not all our youngsters against your first teamers;).

Im in 2 minds about this game...i just have this feeling that we might slip up due to the injuries we have...if we had Gallas, Fab and Arshavin fit then yes we would spank Tottenham all over the ground...but without them i reckon we might sneak a win or draw at worst...draw is no good to us...we need to win this.
