English League & F.A. Cup Football [10th Apr - 14th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Wenger does not go against the decisions and expertise of his health staff. If the experts say they're fit, then they're fit and then Wenger's role is to try and phase them back into the squad. RvP will be on the bench on Wednesday. If he starts, then he will be coming off early too, but my money is on a second-half substitution.

Yes, there is a difference, hence why first-teamers time and time again have been phased in via late substitutions when returning to active-play. RvP probably won't start until the end of the season, if at all.

Wut, 1st place out of reach? 3 points behind with 5 games to play *scratches head*

I suggest next season, rather than playing 38 games or entering competitions, DM performs an assessment of each teams chances, and they just accept their allocated places in the league and Cup, because there's no point playing when you don't have a chance.

Extra bonus - no injuries because no games played - everyone's a winrar.

Actually DM does have a point here, there is a big difference between fitness training and first team training.

Not really because everyone who comes back from injury at some point has to start playing games. Otherwise they would not come back at all. The decision will be based on the player as well. If RVP didnt think or want to play then he wouldnt.

And his point about RVP leaving in the summer is just a joke. Who is going to buy someone who has been out injured for most of the season. Not at a big price anyway. And Wenger isnt likely to let him go on the cheap if he has a long term contract. Cant see anymore cheap sales in the near future.

So the comments only back up his negative attitude to everything towards Arsenal.

They should not force him. Look at torres he hasnot had a fully fit season at liverpool. Due to no good striker cover for him we always rush him in.

Chelsea v Bolton teams:

Chelsea: Cech, Paulo Ferreira, Alex, Terry, Zhirkov, Ballack, Mikel, Lampard, Kalou, Drogba, Anelka.
Subs: Hilario, Joe Cole, Malouda, Deco, Sturridge, Bruma, Van Aanholt.

Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Muamba, Lee, Taylor, Wilshere, Steinsson, Kevin Davies.
Subs: Al Habsi, Samuel, Elmander, Mark Davies, Klasnic, Cohen, Weiss.

Bolton are going to get mullered.
In fact Bolton are going to get so heavily beaten that Chelsea will go all the round and back though the other side and beat them again.

1-0 Half time.

Bolton aren't getting completely walked all over (weren't until the goal anyway), so there is maybe a glimmer of hope.

But sadly it is only that, a glimmer :(

Very good game with 2 fully committed teams going for it.
Zhirkov took a bloody battering (literally) and still had a blinder, he's going to be a great player in the next few years.

Not an easy game really, unlucky Fergie.

Bolton were unlucky and could have (probably should have) had two penalties.

It's certainly Chelsea's title to throw away now, can only hope they do :p
