English League & F.A. Cup Football [10th Apr - 14th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

Blackburn's defence hasn't been that tight. If Utd had a striker on the pitch they'd be ahead by now; Giggs and Valencia have got in some great positions to put balls in the box and nobody's been there.
 
Well, we aren't going to get anywhere next season unless someone starts spending money.

I don't rate the current United squad that highly at all, especially without Rooney :p

Not a surprise Torres is out after the way he was limping on Thursday, hope it's nothing serious.

Surprised that Lucas wasnt included, thought he was one of Liverpools best players in the Benfica match. Really would rather see Pacheco given a turn up front instead of Ngog
 
Still think Benitez will be pretty much forced to walk after not providing what he said he could in the summer, he's doing his very best to get fired and leave with 16million before then.

You're never going to see Pacheco play up front on his own, so unless we were going to leave Gerrard out then he was never going to play. He's more of a Benayoun type player, hopefully if we're a couple of goals up we'll see him get a run out though.

As for Lucas, I guess it's a chance to give him a rest after playing the last 3 games in 8 days.

I wouldnt have played him up front on his own, I merely said I would rather see him than Ngog, never said it would be alone :)

You're then having to change the the entire system and starting 11 to fit him in :p

With Torres injured and you not wanting to play N'Gog then you're going to have to start Kuyt and either move Gerrard back into the middle or leave him out.
 
There is only Macheda getting up, 4 or 5 times he has been clear through for someone to send him and the ball hasnt come, he has twice gone steaming into the box for an easy tap in and Valencia and Nani have failed to get the ball to him.
Every time he gets the ball to feet he is crowded out with no support.
Valencia is back to his agricultural self, no real craft on the ball, so as the blackburn players are standing him up, he has got nothing to get past them.
Nani is doing ok, not helped by nobody running beyond him on the left, or showing for him inside.
Its all a bit meh, as you would expect with O'shea, Scholes, Giggs, Neville and Berbatov on the pitch at the same time.

We should win the game but Berbatov is dropping way too deep. All the nice control and flicks should be done in the final 3rd of the field not on the edge of our own box
