Berbatov has been such a woeful signing, hes got his chance to show what hes made of, what does he do... spends the game stalling attacks in midfield. hes a ******* centre forward who has spent almost no time in the box. hes a disgrace.
ive watched him fling his arms and cry all day. but hes been utter rubbish since we signed him and today showed just how overrated he is.

Again, wrong team selection from the beginning, wrong subs, everything..................... wrong.
But Fergie doesnt ever get anything wrong, so today was a great result, and exactly what he was hoping for.

I've been out, let me guess...Fergie rested a load of players and threw away any chance for the title?
Bit early really.
He played all the golden oldies, just as bad.
Perhaps, but based on form I can't see them dropping enough points in these final games.
I'm still hopeful though
great result for them (and Chelsea/Arsenal!), horrid one for Man Utd. Had a feeling Rooney wouldn't be on even though he was on for the CL game. Think he'll be back next week?

You don't think, even just a little bit, that this is down to how he is being told to play?
He has the talent. Ferguson just isn't using it, whether that be down to his tactics, or not partnering him with another striker to compliment what he brings to the game.
Pretty much.
Fletch, Evra and Park on the bench. O'Shea, Scholes and Giggs started. No Rooney (injured) and Macheda started with Berbatov up front.
Useless performance. Chelsea's to lose now.

I hope we finish third now, worse thing to happen would for us to win the title and Fergie to say "look everything is fine", perhaps a third place will shock him/them into changes.

Evra has been looking a little tired recently so I wasnt surprised about that (although it should have been Fabio on the left and OShea on the right), but the golden oldies in the middle - that had disaster all over it
Always thought this would be a tough game - even more difficult without Rooney (who was never going to play in it anyway even if he had made it through the midweek CL game)
I can even see Arsenal getting 2nd now - it really wouldnt surprise me at all (I cant see Chelsea dropping enough points for Arsenal to win the title though)
Totally agree - but you know what, even then SAF/Gill / TBA (those ****** Americans lol) can point to the 7 EPL losses and "blame" the highly unlikely injuries to the defence in the early part of the season and say that is really unlikely to happen again - and those lost points would still be enough to have been top tonight - I DONT agree with this point but its a kind of valid arguement
Is it just 4th that just has to pre-qualify for the CL group stage or 3rd as well?
