He's a big guy isn't he Webb, he clearly looks after himself. I also think he's painfully over rated, he's a decent ref still.
 
Very even first half

For the most part Vidic and Ferdinand have dealt with Torres but he still looks a threat

We need to get the ball to Valencia more, they cant handle him whatsoever!
 
Match quietened down quite a bit after a hectic start. Got to say that I really cant see it staying at 1-1. Think theres definitely goals in the 2nd half. Either side can win this, I think Webb will have a say in the end result yet too.

From a personal viewpoint, Gerrard has been largely anonymous so far, would expect to see him more fired up for a game like this.
 
Reasonable performance from us in the first half, only reason why we're not ahead is Webb which isn't a surprise after his 2 performances in our games against Arsenal earlier in the season.

He's been like that all season. Had one good opportunity where he was running towards the box, then slowed down and let Valencia come take the ball off him.

His last away goal was August they said on Sky, about sums it up.

He never turns up for these games

In fact I'm struggling to remember the last game against Chelsea or Arsenal where he played well either

I think United will he the happier team going in to the second half, they're the better side so far, but Torres and Gerrard could make something out of nothing.

Rubbish game so far, United are not shooting themselves in the foot by throwing everyone forward, Liverpool have no space to exploit.
Credit for their opening goal, Neville might as well of been in bed as on the pitch considering he was supposed to be tracking Torres run.
 
Nice to see Carragher and his usual going 'through the back of someone' tackles, and he has the nerve to moan to the referee about being rightfully booked. Torres being a whiny bitch as usual too. Reina in top form, best keeper in the league.

How come, when one of our midfielders finds himself in the most perfect positions, it's Park and no one else?

Looking forward to the second half.
 
I'd love to see Berbatov come on and have him tie Masch and Lucas in knots. Game destroyers them two, ok play one holding midfielder, but two? Negative football at it's worst.

Oh, and Liverspuds.

The only reason you're not down to 10 men if because of that referee. Lenient isn't the word.
