Wouldn't it almost be poetic *winces* if he takes his place?

I somehow doubt it though, even coming back Cole as much as I hate to say it is in a different class.

It's level with his face when you see it side on. Liverpool got away with a far far far more blatant handball against Arsenal in a certain game played in Wales, so I think we deserve that one.
 
Gutted about Cole, Zhirkov can't defend and Ferreira is only good enough for the odd game at LB, this'll hit us and possibly England hard if it takes longer than it should to heal :(
 
It's a big loss for club and country. Hopefully he can get fit for the world cup because the idea of Bridge playing there is quite scary, aside from him possibly Shorey is the only other left back I can think of. That's even scarier.

You can't get much more blatant than Fabregas' handball and you've had your decisions against us this season already, you're being greedy now :p

And it wasn't level with his face, it was over head height and possibly slighty behind his head as his head is leaning forward slightly:

Meh, it's not important anymore, I think as you say, the real criticism should be Webb missing it altogether. He was staring straight at it.

Over the last few seasons Liverpool have got a few decisions over Arsenal and this season it's the other way round, feels rather good though I must say

Cole is a massive loss to Chelsea, was in amazing form recently. Sure they'll cover him adequately though and Terry + Carvalho will no doubt up their games to compensate for the loss.

Must say last night is turning out to be incredibly good for Arsenal (unfortunate injuries though)

****, Rooney to get a metatarsal soon aswell. Pray he's back for the World Cup.

Really not so confident about our Champions League chances now, Maicon is going to blitz Ferreira/Zhirkov.
 
Cole out for 3 months is a massive blow for Chelsea and could have a knock on effect for the national side.

I hate to say it, as I really don't like Cole but he is up there with some of the best left backs in the world.

Chelsea don't really have a natural left back to slot in now do they?

Wayne Bridge? Not for England please, Do people not remember how god ****ing awful he was against Croatia ? a few years ago, infact the game that knocked us out of the Euro's ? Wouldn't let him near the England team after that, I'd play Baines (sp) from Everton as second choice for England.
