English League Football [8th - 12th May 2010] **spoilers**

Played Chelsea, good way to win the title :D

Particularly so this year as they lost a bunch of players to the ACoN too - well deserved win in the end.

Pathetic interview by Fergie on SSN. Moaned about the Bayern result yet again and showed a complete lack of respect to Lyon by saying United would've been in the final had they beaten Bayern.

Maybe, maybe not. There's certainly no need for him to show so much contempt to teams that beat United.

Don't remember him showing any contempt to Everton, or Fulham. He's placed question marks on defeats containing particularly dodgy decisions like the Bayern game or Chelsea's 1-0 victory with the goal that never should have been.

He quite clearly did better on every scale, more goals, bigger gap excluding penalties, over twice the assists, half of them against the top half, scored more against the top half, and likely won a double while Rooney helped win the joke cup.

Shows your stupidity, tell Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Villa, City and oh every other team in the Premiership that the Carling Cup isn't worth winning, especially when certain clubs like oh I dont know Arsenal haven't won a single thing in 5 years.

Christ even Chelsea have been known to take the Carling Cup seriously over the past 6 years hence them making 3 finals in those years.

As for you drivel about Drogba being better than Rooney well firstly it's clear as the day is long that Rooney is the better all round player, secondly for all your tripe about Drogba being rested for certain games missing other because of other reasons let me put this to you Rooney's injury!.... had he not got injured in Munich I have no doubt that he'd of gone on and continued his goal scoring run he was in, that injury without doubt put him back because even in the games he has featured in since then he clearly hasn't been 100% hence not scoring since that game so all your stats would have meant the same as all of your posts....

Is that blood I smell boiling?
Oh and well done to Fergie for continuing to play Rooney whilst unfit resulting in yet another injury

Well done Chelsea, to win in such style.

Unlucky United, took it right to the last game.

Well done to Spurs for cracking the Sky 4.

I'm looking forward to the World Cup, but I do hope next season is much better.

Looking forward to next season already (for obvious reasons)

Going to be a busy summer of transfer activity which will make things even more interesting

Chelsea wont win it next season ;)

I want to see United win it, but Chelsea have a good squad and manager.

I don't think this transfer market will be the best one to buy in (with the World Cup), I also think it's a good thing that Manchester City can't offer Champions league football and ruin the transfer market even more.

I'm so painfully excited about the World Cup, but I just hope for a better season then next year. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed this season in the Premier league, but I've found it dull and stale compared to others.
