English League Football ** spoilers ** [11th - 15th September 2010]

There was also a sense of Bolton laying off today towards the end. Blackburn were physical too but we seemed to match them. Good lord, are we finally not as 'bullyable' as we've been in recent years?

Yup, I was thinking, I'll go post and say, was that even a yellow then have someone post a vid of something awful I missed like a sly stamp or something. From the replay(it was jerky at that point for me) I just didn't see really anything at all, the fact that Arshavin was miles away at that point I was thinking, why on earth give a freekick for that. I think generally for a red card you are supposed to stop the play. A yellow you don't have to but a red, the guy to get the red could potentially get up catch up to play and make an important interception/tackle/whatever and as he shouldn't be on the pitch its not possible really.

Arshavin isn't a left midfielder, he isn't a striker, he doesn't play well when we play a 4-5-1, he doesn't have the pace to run the whole wing and he doesn't have the strength to play 4-5-1. Why on earth must Wenger buy people and then play them in different positions. Why on earth play Chamakh on the right at any point, ever. I think he looks a decent player, but so what, we have 58 strikers, Vela is a great striker, the only reason he doesn't look brilliant is he barely ever plays. This type of formation that clearly doesn't work for long periods and isn't clicking at all works against not very good teams, against the best teams the fact that the formation doesn't work helps make us really very very easy to beat against the best teams. Today, we probably should have played 4-4-2, Arshavin behind Chamakh, Fab, Song, Rosicky and wilshire on the wings.

Even then thats playing yet another central player we bought out of position but thats life at Arsenal.

Yeah, the impregnable fortress that is The City of Manchester Stadium. lulz. :D
Well we beat you 4-2 last year there :/ and a whole host of other teams notably Chelsea.
Its really not that bad of a result its a draw at the end of the day.
Anyways great result for Blackpool from what i have heard they played really well and seemed to have carried their attitude from the championship to the prem which is good

Yes...its not that bad of a result considering were missing a few key players...and blackburn really turned it on today and we still dominated but just didnt score enough...against liverpool we turned it on and the goals flew in so its just unlucky imo

Which players were you missing? With a team worth so much I wouldn't call it "missing", surely every player should be "key"?
But I did have a laugh about the result.

Gratz to Everton too, well played.

Zamora had to be given Oxygen and stuff to stop the pain, he was stretchered off.

Chelsea brushing aside another team, they aren't getting much press but they're definitely setting the pace this season.
