Given started in front of Hart all last season.
Hart has started one game ahead of Given this year.
Hart has the potential to be excellent though.

Cech, Sar De Vander, Friedel, Reina, Howard, Gomes are all better keepers then him.

A little ineffective towards the end of the first half. But not wholly bad. He's developing nicely.

Not very well. Easily dispossessed, to raw when defending and he didn't really get involved with the game.

I am a Man Utd fan but in my opinion Van Der Sar is getting less sharp each season and is dropping down the ranks I would rate Reina, Cech and Given above him. Definitely his last season at Man Utd.

From what I saw he rarely was tackled, he just gave it square all game, nice and safe.

Keepers in order.
Reina (distribution is second to none, plus hes amazing in between the sticks)
Cech (if not for his injury he would be number 1, looks shaky at times but is consistent)
Van Der Sar (consistent but time is his enemy now, surely his last season before he retires)
Hart (under rated, has always had a poor defence in front of him, if any other team had him im sure man utd would have snapped him up as van der sar's replacement)
Given (under rated, has always had a poor defence in front of him)

There is absolutely no way Friedel is better than Given. Same goes for Howard.
Gomes had a great year last season but you're basing his abilities on 1 year in the premier league whereas Given has been good for years.
VDS is better than cech.

i think that may have been true last season but VDS has aged another year, Cech can only now be removing the fear inside him, as time heals wounds.
VDS is now injury prone and as old as the hills, he is retirement material.
