Cech actually had a very good second half of last year and looked back to his best in some games. I'm right in saying he won the golden glove as well?

How can Cech be shaky at times and consistent :confused: Do you mean consistently shaky?
 
The thing is its pretty much impossible to not be considered 'shaky' as a keeper. Every goalkeeper makes mistakes in their career and it's those which stay in the minds of the fans. Enckleman? First thought? Exactly ;)
 
As said earlier on in this half I think this is it for the game. Very annoying to lose the first game - especially to a side we're competing for 3rd/4th for. Liverpool down to ten is a massive improvement from 11 last year.

The new signings have looked okish. Don't mind that K has had a quiet game, not so bad for a defender. Chamakh hasn't really had any decent chances or service. Diaby needs to just **** off.
