English League Football ** spoilers ** [16th - 19th October 2010]

Interesting to hear that Fergie wouldn't allow Sky or MUTV (understandably) to ask questions about Rooney in his post-match interviews.

So he refuses to give the mandatory interview to the BBC, he's the only manager that doesn't speak to the written press after the game (unless that's changed this year) and now dictates what Sky can and can't ask him? :o

Sir Alex Ferguson after watching his side lose a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with West Brom: "Sometimes it is better to be one goal in front than two. You keep your focus a bit more."

How can anyone say he isn't losing the plot :(

To be fair, when he said he was happy with the current United side and didn't need any further signings, we knew it was going to be quite bad news this season :(

Then again, it would be better if he played a consistent starting 11.

Chelsea 0
Aston Villa 0

Great 2nd half, could have been anyone's game that! We need more games like this if anyone else is gonna have a chance at the title

Couple of chances wasted for both sides to be fair. Unlucky for Reo-Joker at the end.

Can't complain with a draw though.

Glad to see him back, works tirelessly and looks very solid since returning to the team. I'm pleased with a point, sounds like we could've had all 3 too which surprises me.

On the United game - that's only the 2nd game United have failed to win at home after leading by 2 goals, the other was against Chelsea (3-3) in 2000.

We need to spend in January. The defence are crocks and leaking goals, the midfield are almost completely useless and the forwards seem to all be going through a drop in form at the same time.

So Chelsea hammer West Brom 6-0, whereas Utd, Arsenal and even City (if your going to count the League Cup) can only manage a point between them.

Becoming ever so slightly obvious were the titles going this season :(

If WB made some effort at SB then it wouldn't have been 6-0. Too many teams go to Chelsea with the intention of simply gift wrapping them the points before any whistles have blown.

For all the nay-saying about United, you're still 3rd, and 5 points behind Chelsea 8 games in. It's hardly all doom and gloom! Nothing one good weekend for you and a bad weekend for them doesn't reel in.

City to turn up, try and walk it in, and end up having an absolute battle of a game start to finish. I don't even want to listen. I'l just check the score at the end :(

Yeah he's done well since coming back, We should have won it really. But like you I'm pleased we come out with it with a point especially after the 2 chances Chelsea had!
