English League Football ** spoilers ** [22nd - 25th October 2010]

Mowbray to be confirmed Boro manager tomorrow. (Not that anyone cares :p)

Someone from the club leaked the info and people have been putting bets on left right and centre and the bookies have since stopped taking bets.

Most Boro fans want Mowbray but I think he'll follow in Strachan's footsteps a little. He's basically following him down the same path. We shall see what happens though!

This season will be a write off, he'll have the summer to rebuild team and given until Christmas like Strachan had in his reign. Mowbray will not make the same mistakes though.

Lukas Fabianski in a team of the week. If you had told me that a month ago I'd have laughed/punched you.

Unfortunately for him the Guardian Chalkboard now exists ;)

Alex Song - Passing

Alex Song - Tackling

I take back anything I've ever said bad about you. <3

Has anyone read Mancini's comments this morning? Just makes me want to dislike him more than I already do to be honest. How he can say the Boyata tackle isn't a red card I'll never know.

All managers have to say that rubbish to the press, they don't really believe it. If they lie down and accept it then the ref forgets about it, if they criticise the decision it keeps it in the back of the refs mind for the next time he does a Man City game.

Not sure of everything that he said, the things that stick in my mind are that if City had 11 players they would have won and that it was never a red card. What is he basing the City would have won on? They did well to hang on for that length of time, we squandered a lot of chances and had Djourou and Fabregas scored both of their goals it would have been 3-0 before the end of the half. There's no point saying things such as that, it's just sour grapes, poor City spent 100's of millions of pounds and still lose to an injury wracked Arsenal. I'd have more respect for City if their manager didn't act like a *******.

We lost with ten men for 90 minutes of the game. Not only that, but we held you to 1-0 until the 70th minute, whilst still attacking and got far too close to goal, as well as nearly scoring within side all of about 30 seconds.. You honestly think you would have hammered us if we'd had all 11 men? You weren't hammering us when we had ten

Honestly, that performance from us was bloody good. If we can show that drive and determination this season with 11 men on the pitch I'm not worried at all.
