English League Football ** spoilers ** [24th - 28th September 2010]

Nani is a fantastic player. How can anyone argue over his performance today?

Bolton should have won. They had better chances. I think once Rio is 100%, the defence should tighting up and no more silly mistakes.

some of nanis skill and touch is unbelievable, like when the ball went down the right and he backheel cut back inside lee i didnt eve think the ball would get to him. its just that once he has it, hes a bit erratic over what comes next.

it would be fine if we had a malouda style established winger on one side and a existing prospect like nani on the other but when u only have nani and then an aged giggs or obertan or park to fill in, then it becomes more of an issue.

Nani scored one entirely on his own and set up the other. He's either scored or set up a very large majority of our goals so far this season.

But no he's ****, lets sell him.

Did I say he was ****? No. I didn't.

I said I felt better with Valencia on the right, which I do.

Valencia is more consistent, and he doesn't make anywhere near as many silly mistakes nor frustrate me as much as Nani.

Nani has shown today he can blow too hot and cold in a match, he's also way more dramatic than Valencia which is annoying.

Yeah but Valencia also can't do anything special, he never could have scored a goal like Nani's today. Before he got injured he'd been utterly **** since the Charity Shield.

Frustrating game mainly due to the ref tbh but we're still unbeaten unlike Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool & City and coming from a goal down twice is a positive being down twice in a game obviously isn't though. Really need Rio back in the defence to sort the rest out, had he not played in midweek we'd had probably gone out to S****horpe - it's Rio's kind of composure and leadership we're missing in these away games

The problem with the defense is Evans, he is completly ineffective against any striker who has any physical presence.
Against Fulham he was completly bossed by Zamora, today he was completly bossed by Davis.
Opposing managers take note, if you want to get a result against United just stand a man on Evans and he will concede ground, headers, fouls, penalties, in fact anything you want.

Do you really think rio will make much of a difference? I think hes past it and the sooner he is replaced the better, as you will get someone better than evans, who imo has cost utd 3 goals in the last 3 games.

I don't know what's going on with Evans. He's looked fairly assured in the past two seasons but this year he has gone backwards dramatically and looks all over the place when the ball's in the air.

What's Evans got to do with Ferdinand? Yes Rio will make a massive difference

Yeah he's having a tough time of it for sure, the kid's still got plenty of potential but needs taking out of the firing line. I get Fergie wants to ease Rio back into things but had he played today we wouldn't of got bossed by two of the most one dimensional strikers in the league

Owen should be starting over Rooney IMO. Rooney is just a pile of poo and I don't see him ever getting back to his best this season.

He's the only reason evans is playing. Fit rio, evans bench, works everytime. With the amout of time rio's been out in the last season, 13apps last season in the epl, 0 so far this season. So yes evans has got to do with rio.
