English League Football ** spoilers ** [24th - 28th September 2010]

It's not the end of the world, we're still only 3 points behind Chelsea. What's really going to determine the title this season are the games against the big four, and particularly against Chelsea. A repeat of the losses last year will gift Chelsea the title again.

edit: 'big four' this season includes Tottenham/Man City, sorry 'pool fans but you're team isn't worthy of being in that group any more.

Lol at Bald Nicky Butt. Totally didn't recognize him.

I really think Utd should start Rooney on the bench untill he finds his form again. Owen and Chic need more starts.

Newcastle have some decent wingers in Routledge and Ben Arfa, they're both quick and look pretty dangerous on the ball. Stoke are, to put it nicely, 'agricultural' in their approach to tackling.

Man U fans,

How the hell does O'Shea get in ahead of Neville or Rafael?
As far as i'm aware, Both are fit to play.

Yet O'Shea who was supposed to be this highly dependent player who comes in whenever needed and fills in nicely if the first team players are injured/banned whatever.

Yet it seems O'Shea is first choice in your back four?
He's utter ****, His passing is frankly a joke for a professional player.

You know your in trouble when you have all of your right backs injury/suspension free, Yet O'Shea still plays consistently.

Shocking performance for Newcastle today. We got complacent at 1-0 and let them back into the game then got sloppy and allowed them to take the lead.

Two defeats at home in a row to opposition we aught to be beating simply isn't good enough if we want to stay up this season.

I think you are lucky that Stoke started with the wrong team and played absolutely crap for 90% of the game.

Providing Pulis learns who should be playing and where, and drills it in them that a game is 90 minutes, not just the second 45 you'll get a kicking when you come to the Brit for the 2nd game ;)

I'd rather O'Shea played than Neville. Neville is a bit of a liability now, he's too slow and gives away free kicks frequently. Plus he can't get forward as much as he used to. I'm not sure why Fergie seems to have shunned Rafael though. Yes, he is inexperienced and has made a few mistakes but at least he's good on the ball. I'm guessing he must have said or done something Fergie didn't like, otherwise he ought to be in the team.

I think your negative play in the first half stopped up from getting a bigger goal advantage. We could easily have been two or three up if you hadn't pulled 10 men behind the ball for the first 45 minutes. We did have 70% possession afterall.

We thought we'd done enough on half time when we got the goal and stepped back when we should have pressed on and finished it off.

As it happens, it was a stupid move by Enrique that gave away the free kick which led to the equaliser an it was sloppy defending which led to the winner.

You didn't win the game today, we lost it.
