English League Football ** spoilers ** [2nd - 3rd October 2010]

For what its worth. Torres has left the country, alone. No bandaging, moving freely.
Heard from my people that he had no problems today, and has now gone to join up with the Spanish NT. Which is a massive *finger* to Roy, he requests all players to eat together in evenings after games to 'bond' and all that.

I really do hope that is not the case.

That's pretty sad if true.

At least Chelsea didn't embarrass us, we gave a decent performance with a fair amount of key players missing. If you took Terry, Lampard and Drogba out of Chelsea's team then you'd not expect them to be as potent in attack either, which is pretty much what it's like with us having Vermaelen, van Persie and Fabregas injured.

No real excuses though, you have injuries and you have to deal with them, Chelsea are coping well without Lampard it seems, it will be hard for anyone to catch them unless they have a few off days like they did the other week.

God above. That free kick didn't even start curling until after it passed the wall. And then it bent all the way from middle of the goal to top corner.

I'm sick and tired of Drogba, he's one annoying ear'ole alright.

As for the free kick, nobody could have saved that.

We had a lot of possession, but lacked any bite up front, but I thought we played quite well, so that's a positive.

FT 2-0

Decent performance, we dominated but lacked sharpness in the final 3rd (injuries!!!), Drogba was lucky with the goal and the second was a result of song moving out the way and a fantastic strike from alex.

Oh and chamakh isn't even a striker.

Rubbish going forward as predicted. Really was going to be that much harder with not Cesc, RvP or Vermaelen. Well done Chelsea, easily deserved those three points.

I seriously doubt it is true. Less than an hour ago Hodgson said he was being assessed by the medical team.

Doesn't sound like he knows much, and I dont think Liverpool would admit it either way.

"They (the medical team) are assessing it at the moment. It happened early in the game which came as a surprise to us.

"We were not aware of any problems with the groin. I don't know if it happened during the course of the game when he stretched for the ball. I don't really know."

Seems very uncertain!

Ah ok.

Well I thought that was actually alright by Arsenal. But the important thing to take away from this is that City are still second, and now will be for 2 weeks :D
