English League Football ** spoilers ** [2nd - 3rd October 2010]

"They (the medical team) are assessing it at the moment. It happened early in the game which came as a surprise to us.

"We were not aware of any problems with the groin. I don't know if it happened during the course of the game when he stretched for the ball. I don't really know."

Thats funny, unless we out-source our medical team because i have eye-witness that he was out of the stadium well before half-time. This i know for a fact.
Leaving the country? this i hear, but dont have proof of outside of my usual contact, who to be fair isnt often wrong.

It looks good. :D

Professional performance from Chelsea, you have to admire them. They defend a lead better than anyone.

Arsenal played decent in my opinion (any team would miss RvP, Cesc and Vermalen) - but they were up to their old tricks passing around the box for ages.

I felt they didn't get the rub of the green with the ref either. Foul in the build up to the first goal in particular.

Would Liverpool fans be happy if Benitez came back?

Of course it wouldn't happen, but still.

Most never wanted him to leave. And although unlikely in the near future, I wouldn't rule it out. He gave an interview recently where he admits himself that Liverpool is still his home and that he's only got a 2 year deal with Inter, so who knows.

Same ole crap from Arsenal...play lovely football but FA to show for it...our defence is so dire its not even funny anymore...thought we played well enough for a draw but Alex's strike was sublime but the foul for the free kick should have never happened.

We had our chances but as usual we lack the killer instinct in front of the net...Drogba just did us over again like he does yr in and yr out:(...6 pts dropped in the past 2 weekends now.

Two weeks to sort out a new manager.

I'm sorry, but who do you want in that can do better?

Under the circumstances? The club is all over the place.

As for the Arsenal game, thought Wilshire looked really good, Arsenal really lacked going forward.

Why is Song trying to play some sort of attacking midfielder role?

Alex's free kick was stunning, beautifully hit ball.

Why would Rafa come ? lol
In sunny Italy, top of the league and the players there seem to love him (For actually allowing them some playing freedom compared to Jose)

Come back here? even less cash (Inter dont have a lot either but still). Owners/board who dont respect you or even have a clue about football. And the same few senior players (Carra) who talked crap about him being responsible for dragging the Liverpool name through the mud (RE: Everton are a small club) to which Mr Alex stuck up for him and called us disrespectful. Only some ~7 months later to himself call Everton a small club.

Anyway..wouldnt want him back, for his sake he deserves better.

Under these circumstances who could do better? Plenty of managers but none would go near us.

We're in terrible shape and no manager in their right mind would go near us but we still shouldn't be where we are now.

On current form Liverpool are where they should be, they're not playing well and Roy needs time (it took him a while to get Fulham playing well)

I don't think Roy's a bad appointment, I just think that off the pitch needs to be sorted out as a priority.

I agree that under the circumstances not many managers would go near Liverpool, really need to get it sorted off the pitch.

I don't know enough about whats going on off the pitch to comment on that (read the take over thread from time to time though)
