English League Football ** spoilers ** [2nd - 3rd October 2010]

"It's pointless to try and be positive and say the second half was better and we could have got an equaliser because we lost the game - a game we did not want to lose."

Odd for him to say that in the conference because that's almost exactly what he did say in the sky post match interview, so obviously not that pointless

Like who?

No doubt he'll say Torres but be wrong. He's look disheartened and certainly isn't playing well but anybody that has actually watched him over the past few weeks and not just listened to poor commentators will see he's been working hard.

At times against Utrecht he was chasing back all the way to the edge of our box to try and win the ball back.

Felt for Roy i realy did, the day he took the job at liverpool.

At fulham they never had great scoring, or win streaks. Just steady eddy, few high profile results in the season, the upper echelons of midtable looked good on the manager and club.

For me it's no suprise that liverpool and the results their getting, you could use the fulham anology, or go with roy having lost it, due to situation he's now in.

When the wheels fell off at blackburn, boy did they, a very down time for the guy for those who remember it.

Personaly i hope he walks away from it, before it drags him down any futher.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Torres in his attitude, he's still trying and working hard, he's struggling for full fitness imo.

I just think he looks a bit unhappy, but he's still working hard, he's not sulking.

I thought Arsenal played quite well, just lacking in the final third, but what else have we come to expect?

I was pleasantly surprised how well Squillaci and Konscienly handled Chelsea going forward. It really wasn't a poor defensive performance.

like all of them. you can't put everything on the people outside of the pitch. At the end of the day it's for them to perform or show that at least they want to perform.

And, although this doesn't effect the pitch I think we can safely say your fans haven't exactly been in top form for a while now. I don't really want to get into it because United fans have currently got their dunce hats on as well but you've hardly been beacons of support.

When individuals or even the team as a whole have 1 or 2 poor performances you criticise the players, when it goes on for 8, 9 or 10 games then you have to look beyond just criticising the player on the pitch.

It's ultimately the managers responsibility to get performances out of the team and it's not happening.

There's a lot to criticise of how we've performed this season but 1 thing I haven't noticed is a poor attitude from the players.

Yup, with that much attacking talent it's a shame they've not really thumped a team yet :p

Ozil looks a real classy player.

4-0 Real Madrid, nice to see them playing with a bit more freedom, some very nice play so far.

Oh how Man Utd would benefit from Ozil :( :(

Edit: 5-0 now, Own Goal, 30 mins to go!

Mourinho's certainly got them playing as a team. Higuan's got two assists and a goal, Ozil has a goal and an assist as has Di Arrhea. Real look the team to beat in La Liga this season.

Tonights table:

It looks good. :D

Haha I wonder would Manu fans take that table if they could end the season right now?

Behind City, Chelsea winning the title and Liverpool going down?

Personally I think Liverpool fans are whinging about nothing and want a knee jerk reaction to a poor start to the season. Everton are down there as well with a squad that shouldn't be. It's not the first time either that the fans could have cause to ask for Moyes head. Yet we know when you don't have the spending power of the bigger clubs you need stability and allow the manager to take his time shaping a team/squad.

You have to stick with what you have got and give him time to start to turn things around.
