English League Football ** spoilers ** [30th October - 2nd November 2010]

Had £5 on Liverpool ad Newcastle games being draws which lost me £10

I also stuck a sneaky £1 on the first goal in the Liverpool game coming in between the 75th-90th min

17/1 :)

To be fair, Arsenal scraped a win in the last minutes at home vs bottom of the league and I'm delighted with it, Liverpool should be happy they're getting the points on the board, the performances will follow.

What was the score again?!?! :D :D :D

Dear me i'm hungover after celebrating last night :D

Was watching it with 3 mackems and another 3 geordies and one of mates got the line of the day as he was sullenly staring at the tv watching his team get spanked

"It's only 3 points anyway"

HAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHA :D

It is only 3 points but HAHAHAHHHAHAHAHHA :D

so does anyone know if VdV is injured or if he is okay?

i hope fergie got a good look at VdV in direct comparison to OP carrick and thought, damn, why dont i just buy the good players. and not from spurs once their value has already trebled?

The issue is that we've only got 12 points on the board.

A whole 3 points off 5th place. 12 points on the board, at this stage of the season isn't bad, if we were half way through, or you know, 3 games from the end with that kind of tally, like Derby would be, you'd have a genuine point.

Again I'll point out, people are mental to expect Liverpool to start at their best this season, same way people were ridiculous to just expect City to be a top 3 team instantly, etc, etc.

You've only lost 4 games, one at home, 3 away to City, Utd, Everton, any other season you'd expect to lose to City and Utd away, and Everton, frankly the luck Liverpool have had in recent years, and by luck I obviously mean Gerrard diving to get penalties/people sent off, you were due a beating by Everton.

played 3 of the top 4, 2 of those away already, even in a year you were aiming for the top 4 with 3 very tough games you'd expect to be a bit behind at this stage, and in the return fixtures maybe get a win and a couple draws against the same teams.

So beyond that, Liverpool ARE improving, even players like Maxi almost look like footballers, your defence is starting to look more solid, with the big Greek guy making Davies look like a *****, which not that many defenders manage to do.

Why don't you just let it drop? It is really boring knowing that the huge majority of your posts are slagging Ferguson off. You do realise he is one of the greatest managers -ever- right? You and DM are equally moronic, but atleast his posts are funny to read.

why dont i let it drop? because im the protagonist of Kaizen... continous improvement....

because its a recurring nightmare tbh. not content with paying inflated amount for Carrick, we wade into Berbatov, and now since he has overcome his early season form and is reverting back to type (none in 7 i believe is the latest form and body language to suggest he is closer to retirement than say teveth) - at least those berbatov hero singers can quieten down a little bit...

then fergie starts looking at paying an inflated number for Modric? and then we see VdV come into the premiership and look, frankly, like spurs best player. Right on Fergies doorstep? Scouting failure? Fergie, put the chequebook away....

its really boring that people keep saying how he's the greatest managers ever. you think i dont know that he has presided over our most sucessful time period ever? thanks for the insight captain obvious... do you think that puts him beyond reproach, and that now he can sign anyone with absolute impunity and diss anyone else, because 'Hes The Best YO!!!' its that kind of attitude that will keep him in his job far past his sell by date... oh wait...

I'm the Kaizen master. (recognised throughout my proffesion as an instigator of new processes and procedures)

Look at where United were in 1989 and where they are now ;)

That Nick is continuous improvement.

Anyway........ Ferguson should be mystic meg and realise that these players were always class when they were sitting in the reserves for Real Madrid, he should have realised that Modric would be class and not too lightweight for the Premier League (like it was first thought, big outlay for someone who might get kicked about every Saturday)

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I'll stop now before someone throws his toys out of the pram and I get a ban.

In fact, I may even tell you what I really think of you at some point Nick seeing as I don't post here anymore anyway.

Will be an excellent post to go out on :)

Goodbye for another several months SA!
