Lots more games off, prems the only league where undersoil heating is mandatory so they shouldn't in theory get frozen, lot of snow + heat means they can get waterlogged but that would also not be an issue you'd think. Someone said, its more access thats the issue, they moved the snow off the Emirates grass quite easily, but no one could get to the stadium, or too many people couldn't. Not even sure if the Bolton team could make it there tbh :p

I was suppose to be going to Reading v Newcastle, but it's been postponed. Hardly a surprise after all the snow we had the other day, and the roads aren't that great. Looks like the biggest issue was ice on the terraces.

Happy birthday to Nokkon if he happens to read this thread. :)

It's crazy how many games have been cancelled, I really hope no EPL fixtures are affected otherwise it could be a really boring weekend. :p

Plus with Carling Cup games being canceled and Europe starting again and it being a world cup year games will be coming thick and fast. What date do England meet up for the WC?

You should have started a thread, I didn't realise and now I've missed it :p

Happy B'day for yesterday Nok and pleae come back, you're the only Manc I liked :)

We both know that's not true ;)

Come back Nok, who annoyed him in the first place?

I will make it my mission to abuse them.

Hm, is the snow in L'pool bad or something? Surprised a Prem one has been called off, all the main roads here are perfect and most of the pavements are improved.

Sounds like the Fulham game is off, Burnley, Liverpool probably, and with the Fulham game being off I'd expect most London ones to be off aswell, if local police and people have decided its too dangerous for fans, you'd expect the same for other area's of London.

I'm guessing by tonight a huge number of games will be canceled, might be lucky to get to see any footie this weekend :(

At this rate we are looking at 2 or 3 possible Premier League fixtures this weekend if we're lucky. :(

Sunderland off now.

Really surprised about the prem games being cancelled. The pitches will be fine, is it all worrying about a couple of people slipping over on their way to/from the grounds? If so, diddums :/

Aye, get some proper shoes and get on with it. We're going to be facing a fixture pileup at this rate.

Still, at least we can't get any more injuries. Cesc might be back for our next played game too. :p

Somebody from Sunderland was just on SSN and it's just that. The pitch is perfectly playable but it was called off due to safety concerns over people getting to and from the ground.
