English League Weekend Football 8-12th January *spoilers*

Got my matching setup for Brum vs Man U 0-1.

Will be £7.17 up. Not a great deal but it's enough :)

A tenner. Not absolutely brilliant returns but it's my first go at this and I wanted to play it fairly safe.

Okey - I assume its an SNR bet! It's not bad tbh. Welcome to the MB world :D

My advice to you would be not to rush and sign up to every bookie. Research the bookies first and see what's the best they offer and when!

Yeahh, unfortunatley Coral are SNR now. :(

Not gonna rush it, don't have the capital! Am just gonna make sure this all goes smoothly then move onto another £10 free and slowly build up the funds.

Just made it home from work for the 2nd half of the forest match.

3-1 to the reds, 2nd and the 3rd goals were from the top draw. The build up for the 3rd was something else.

Amazing run we're on at the moment, im in love with billy davies, he's got forest playing fantastic team flowing football atm... The league title isn't beyond our reach:)

I think Man Utd will drop points tomorrow, just a feeling.

As for Forest, I said they'd be there or there abouts when they beat us in the last minute - good side.

Fingers crossed that some games go ahead tomorrow, the Utd match at 5:30 is our gathering point for a night out, could all go wrong if it doesn't happen. Seems none of my mates can get organised for anything other than being at the pub for a kick off :p

Congratulations to Forest, only the third time I've seen them this season, but was impressed once again. Always have a soft spot for them, first team I went to see and first kit I owned (both thanks to my uncle trying to draw me towards supporting them :D), so nice to see them playing some nice ,flowing football. Best of luck :)

Pleased for Forest too.

Not sure why but I have real soft spots for them and Leeds.

I hope Forest come up with us back to the Prem, hopefully Leeds the year after.

Hmm, Wigan said the game would go ahead yesterday unless it snowed or conditions got worst, its been fine, just a little chilly so don't know why its been canceled.

The bbc site's thing which matches are on/off lists Hull as off, then talks about the Hull game going ahead further down the page.

Hope theres at least some football today. Was a touch worried as out of relatively no where in London we got a very very heavy snowstorm, which had it continued could have meant Arsenal game could potentially be in trouble, but it stopped after 5 minutes.

I wonder how many town centres or shopping centres have been closed due to bad weather. The Burnley game has been called off because its deemed unsafe for the spectators with dangerous conditions in the surrounding areas. There is a shopping complex just up the road from the ground and no doubt its business as usual there. How come surrrounding areas are dangerous for football supporters but not shoppers etc?

(I just chose Burnley as an example and no slight on them specifically)
