English League Weekend Football 8-12th January *spoilers*

If the cold snap continues for the next 2 weeks as forecast, we could be looking at 2-3 games being rescheduled later on in the season. Could wreak havoc depending on when they are played but Liverpool should be fine, I hear they have Tuesday and Wednesday nights off now. :p

Could they in theory play a re-arranged fixture on the Tuesday then a Europa League game on the Thursday?

Just a thought.

What started as the best Weekend Football thread ever made could quite easily turn in to the worst if many more games get called off.

Don't like to blame Linoge but this wouldn't have happened in Tummy's day :(

The whole Christmas period ****ed up my sense of time anyway, games been cancelled isn't helping :(

Hopefully we'll see a game or two. MOTD is going to be weird. :p

Aye, get some proper shoes and get on with it. We're going to be facing a fixture pileup at this rate.

Still, at least we can't get any more injuries. Cesc might be back for our next played game too. :p
If it lasts a while, you might even get Song back :p

Maybe Roman installed giant blowers in Siberia to send their weather this way to minimise the impact of the ACoN on Chelski :p

Entering the world of matched betting today via the WBA game... let's hope I've set it up right :o

What is matched betting?

Betting on both outcomes of an event in order to make a minimal loss and then aquiring a promotional "free bet" which you can then do the same with in order to make a profit. It's a bit hard to get your head round but it's a completely risk free way of making a few bob. You need an starting pot of about £100-200 to make it worthwhile though.

Looks like I've done it right. WBA losing loses my bet and wins my lay, meaning I come out with £19.21 out of £20, then I can use my free bet on another game in order to get about £17.50 out of a tenner input, regardless of result. :D

West Brom v Forest kicked off with a slight delay, stadium seems to be as full as expected and Forest are 1-0 up. Get watching guys as this might be the only game we see this weekend. :p

I didn't realise how high up in the table Forest were and at this rate Middlesbrough will have to pull it out of the bag to get promotion this year.

Don't want to sound stupid but don't you lose everything if they draw, making it not risk free?

No because if you lay the bet the team you lay has to win for you to lose. So if the other team win or it's a draw you've still won.
