"Enter Shikari"

That was awful. get out. :D

Anyway Enter Shikari must be one of my favourite bands now, absollutley insane talent that Rou has got, his lyrics and ideas are immense. I have the entire Common Dreads album here and listening to all 15 tracks. it is absolutley brilliant.
 
Saw them live few days ago in Liverpool... revived my love for them! Think it was about 1 or 2 years since I listened to them last (had 100+ plays on each song) and I even remembered most of the lyrics!

Don't know what to make of the new album though (been leaked and tracks are on 'tube).. i'm slightly disappointed it's not like their old stuff.. it's a lot harder/agressive, messy vocals, awful spoken word/rhyming(perhaps "rapping") and a silly, silly political side of it. Parts of songs where those parts are incoporated are cringe worthy.. don't know why they did it :( It is quite nice but again, it's a lot more harder with parts seemingly very heavy... like the vocals, they've lost their great melodicness that they had in pretty much every track in the last album.. now theres a lot more random shouting/screaming.

Oh and the dubstep.. rou played a DJ set after they played in L'pool and i'm really not into it.. friends are but I really don't like it.. trance plz.

No hyperbole, no exaggeration. Seriously the worst thing I've heard.

It's like the Streets meets Pendulum by way of Set Your Goals. Some terrible, terrible ideas and awful vocals.
 
New album is enjoyable enough. More of the same basically. I've always loved the idea of Enter Shikari but they still can't quite pull it off imo. Rock and proper dance music is still a combo waiting to happen I think, but they do an interesting enough job for now. The bits of old songs in new songs is just stupid though dunno what they were thinking with that one.

Been listening to new 'Common Dreads' album for a few days now on and off, didn't like it too much at the start but starting to love it now..
 
some of their stuff is awful, really awful. Added to the fact they're like fall out boy in they're target audience is emo he/shes.

some of their stuff is listenable, over rated imo :) *dons flame proof suit*
 
Only band I heard at Glastonbury and Frequency festivals this year to make me almost physically sick.

The guys voice is possibly up there with the worst I have ever heard.

Worst. Band. Ever.
 
Some of their songs can be alright, but the singers voice on some secions just makes him sound outright stupid. And some of the 'melodies' are just ridiculously bad.
