Have you seen them? They are 4 chavs from Oxfordshire ffs (or wherever)... posh boarding school boys who barely know how to play instruments but know how to make money...
I really don't like Enter Shikari. Seriously. But I would disagree that they're just jumping on a bandwagon here. They've worked so much harder than most bands do. Much harder than FFAF or Lostprophets ever did. They've been constantly on tour since their first EP and put in a lot of hard work to get where they are just now. This band did not just come from no where and suddenly become huge. It's taken them the best part of 3 years to build up the momentum to get to where they are just now. Which is more than can be said for bands like FFAF and LPs who went from nothing to massive in the space of 6 months.

I must admit that I know nothing of this band; I'm getting old and therefore out of touch. However, any band with tracks named "Mothership", "Sorry, You're Not a Winner" and "No Sssweat" deserve a swift kick in the eye, in my honest opinion.
Not into them so much now but loved them at one point, saw them live in bath, was a great night.
And how anyone can call them sellouts is beyond me, they turned down their first major deal because they weren't given total control of it and wanted it their way or no way.

I'm seeing them in August, i think they're a lot better than most of the garbage that's being on the scene recently although for a band that owns their own label, i can't help but think that they could do a lot more

Sorry, you're completely incorrect if you consider Enter Shikari to lack musicianship. Not every band in the world has the musicianship of Spastic Ink or Spiral Architect.
The guitarist has a fantastic distortion tone far better than most metal guitarist which is very impressive considering how young the band is, it took Meshuggah 6 years+ to refine their tone to the point of crunchy djent excellence. He also has written some very good riff which are much better than similar bands.
The synths though very typical fit in very well with the mix and definately do add an extra dimension to their music (much more than Jordan Rudess has done for Dream Theater, another band considered to have amazing musicianship unless there are people who exist that actually enjoy his 7 minute long piano concertos)
The actual music itself is very technical, a lot of their songs have complex rhythmic passages and often incorporate time signature changes (similar bands simply don't do this apart from Exit Ten).
The only thing i'll agree with is the singer isn't brilliant but he sounds a lot better than how he used to.
