Now that's how you get new customers on board. Some crazy prices going on there.
That is very cheap for John Wick! They just bought me
They are offering a £10 discount through their store to any game over £13.99
That makes the new John Wick: Hex game £4.39. SOLD!

Observation for £7.99 instead of £17.99 is tempting as well, that's out next week and the previews made it sound interesting.
Edit - They didn't really buy me as I already had the Epic Launcher and pre-ordered Borderlands 3 via CD Keys which is an Epic Launcher key.
The deals are tempting but I'm not sold
Subnautica sub zero for £5.49 though is pretty damn good
If it ends up being even half as good as the simply stunningly good Subnautica, then a fiver is an ABSOLUTE steal.
If it had VR I would be all over this however no VR no interest from meThe deals are tempting but I'm not sold

So seems an odd one that some companies don't like the £10 discount considering it is out of epics pocket. I wonder if it is to do with it making them way cheaper than on steam and valve are not happy?
It’s worth noting that neither of these games are Epic Store exclusives, which could put them in an awkward spot on other stores. The structure of this sale, after all, is unusual; the additional $10 off games priced $14.99 and higher comes “courtesy of Epic,” meaning that Epic itself is taking the monetary hit, so companies like Paradox and Klei can’t easily match those prices on Steam. In Paradox’s case, it’s doubly dicey, seeing as Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 isn’t out yet. Why pre-order it anywhere else if Epic could, theoretically, discount it again before it’s released? Some people have pointed to regional pricing differences that would’ve led to impractically large discounts on an unreleased game in some territories, as well.

To be fair that is the situation now. Anyone with a modicum of patience can get games for massive discounts (it's great for us). Picked up gold ghost recon windlands today for just over 10 quid. IF I wanted to I could get rage 2 for £28 (I think it was). It’s to do with futures sales, if you come to expect them, you wait.
Meaning the publisher loses out, steam eventually got this right for all involved.
Epic (or the publishers) is secretly raising the base price of the sale.
Hades has gone from $19.99 (was $16.99 during EA) to $24.99
Both Heavy Rain & Beyond Two Souls were $14.99 now $19.99
Control was $47.99 (as I remembered), has been increased to $59.99.
I am referring to regional price on the US Store (since I am not currently not in the UK), others in the EU region has discovered similar changes as well.Hades shows for me as £15.49 (https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/hades/home)
Heavy Rain shows as £15.99 (https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/heavy-rain/home)
Beyond Two Souls shows as £15.99 (https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/beyond-two-souls/home)
Control shows as £47.99 (https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/control/home)
On a side note, Hades is a pretty good game from what I saw of it when Cohhcarnage streamed it, £5.49 for it is a darned good price.
Why do you keep posting the same old line without bothering to read or acknowledge any of the responses? People aren't bothered about the launcher, despite it being lack lustre and a bit ****, people are bothered about the shady practices of Epic and it's parent company.
... the frak? What nonsense is this. After the whole valve content policy debacle I'd put them right up there with Facebook in terms of moral high ground.
