*EPIC THREAD* Major Problems with Coollaboratory Liquid Pro Thermal Compound DEAD CPU

mate, you are off your face. oc uk tested the cpu and an indipentend company tested the bored, its the falt of the Thermal paste. i hope to god that when you get it through nothing goes wrong, becuase hes the only guy thats gonna be able to help you if it does. its a concutor aswell. it only leaked after the paste heated up. i used it on my pc and i didnt leak but i did get cpu temp warning as soon as i booted.

im a qualified Support Technician, ive been doing this since i was 13, i have no less than 4 diplomas in hardware, network and software support. so take it from me when i say, this paste is CRAP.

im a qualified Support Technician = MUPPET "i have no less than 4 diplomas in hardware, network and software support" so what you can't read instructions and have no common sense = IDIOT

Just installed it on another rig yesterday superb results 3c drop.

How on earth did I manage to miss such an epic thread?!?!

This made me chuckle to say the least.. how on earth can you get TIM on the underside of a processor???

And to blame OcUK for a dumb mistake like this is beyond me, it's clearly your own fault buddy, plenty of other guys have used this stuff, and haven't had any issues with it bleeding out like you have...

I think the bottom line is that qualifications doesn't instantly mean you'll never make mistakes. I've got diplomas, a degree and a post-grad degree in things like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computing and IT but these don't stop me making mistakes, like the time I electrocuted myself when playing around with the innards of a sat box when my gold bracelet touched bits of the PSU :D

I've been using this paste a while with my black nickel T.R.U.E, it's made a mess of the heatsink and the CPU's I've used it with.
In my syringe, there was an air bubble, the liquid metal went all over my board, I just cleaned it up fine lol.
3.6GHZ, 45C under 5 maximum passes of intelburntest, I'm happy lol.
