Epic TTS

Because everyone on Ocuk motors is a racing driver.

Also what a load of balls this is:

People who buy performance cars such as these tend to be enthusiast and many of who have advanced driver training or simply enjoy pushing their cars and themselves towards the limit. :)

Is it worth going past page1? Just someone paying a bunch of people to fit some medium things so far.

Also am I the only one who doesn't understand why the TTRS is compared with the GTR so much? :p

Some people think the sum of a car is how fast it can get to 100mph which a TTRS does very quickly, add in a remap and exhaust makes them silly quick, especially the S-Tronic versions.

But that is it and in the end it's still a dull Audi TT RS hair dressers car, just one which means you will never be late to clients unless of course you understeer of the road and never make it....... :D

thing with a TT is that if you have a TDI or a TTRS, nobody knows what it is.

the amount of TDI TTs i see with RS fixed spoilers is crazy.

if you are going for a car to stand out, don't buy a car that has a standard diesel version also.

:/
Stick on some orange tat, tweek the engine a with a few minor mods and fit a some bangin toones equipment mush...
Does not an "EPIC" car make!

and he didn't even do any of it himself..

Beam me up Scotty, this one's dead.

True but that can also be applied to 911's, the entire BMW range and Mercedes ranges, focuses and fiestas etc.

Nowadays you can never tell with BMW's especially as every jack the lad has stuck fake M badges all over them!

Difference being there is no such thing as a slow 911, they are all quick cars. Yet there are very slow BMW's, Mercs, Focuses and well all Fiestas are slow. Then the Audi TT well most of them are slow diesels.

Any Porsche 911 is a fast and precise handling tool, the same cannot be said for the others manufactures car unless it's a real BMW M car, an AMG Merc or an RS Ford.

I'm willing to bet you'd be a bit disheartened if someone mistook yours for a bottom rung 911! :p

No not at all because Porsche don't make a poor or bad sports car. The Boxster is incredible, the Cayman is amazing and the 911 is bloody amazing.

No such thing as a slow 911 and any 911 is a truly iconic car. I can easily and happily say out of all the cars I've owned and driven the 911 and Porsche in general are the absolute best driving cars, everything is just spot on and a real joy to drive. If people ask me what I drive the answer is short "911" no more needs to be said as there is no such thing as a bottom rung 911. :)

he gets bored easily :D

but seriously, the amount of time he has owned the card is proof, if any is needed, just how good his yellow Beetle is. Typically Gibbo changes cars every 18 months maximum.

Quick question though, if porsche is so good why would you want to change? :p

Why do you try the different flavour chocolates in the box?

The 911 I've owned longer than any other car, everytime I come to sell it I change my mind as nothing else quite drives like it, but at the same time I now have an M3 that has sorted handling, OK on the road its not a match for the 911 but on the track its superior, but so it should be there is nothing original left on it.

So I want to move away from focus handling and just move to big power and great noise, if I can get that whilst maintaining handling/feel to some degree then awesome. So you say 911 Turbo? Unfortunately and dare I say this I find the Turbo's actually the opposite to what a 911 should be, they are simply rather dull to drive, so not every 911 is amazing for what I need, plus the engines in them sound nowhere near as good as the NA's. GT3 is the other option but unfortunately they are hardly any quicker until you move to the real expensive stuff like gen 2 GT3 RS, but I don't have 150k......

If funds were unlimited I'd keep the 911, add a supercharger kit, some bucket seats and ohlins coilovers, but I don't have 30-40k to spend in mods on it, but then it would be my perfect car to be honest. But I'd rather sample some different flavours, at 50k there are many options Audi R8 V10, Shelby/Corvettes, M5's, GTR's, all cars which I need to sample whilst I can. :)

a) It's a TT with bits stuck on.

b) It's rather soft edged design wise.

c) It's primarily FWD and so moreso safety focused than thrilling.

d) It's a mass produced German hatchback in a frock.

no RS is FWD and its the highest in the range of Tt's of course it has bits stuck on, better bits and what car isn't mass produced

to be honest that link could have shown any modded car and everyone would have **** on it.
