I don't like the Halloween event, I have already used all my food up and night visions goggles are sold out with traders and extortionate on Flea.

The wipes just mean I never get past the same point and then have to do it all again

Id play if it went live (stopped being in beta and stopped wiping) but i fear by the time that happens no one will be playing it anymore

They haven't found a solution for the end game which is why we also need wipes in the first place. All maps are supposed to be joined up into one single map also (won't ever happen)

Yeah can't say I fancy investing hundreds of hours to do the same quests again. They need a better solution than wiping progress every 6 months as this game is a serious bloody grind.

I wont play again until wipes stop, they should just give us a character that does not get wiped anymore, and another character that gets wiped, simples.

Anyone looking forward to new patch? Compared to the previous patches I just got to max traders and stopped this time due to just nothing of any real substance being added, so I feel I'm ready for some new content.

They confirmed a few months ago it was coming this year, so will be with the wipe in the next few days.

I have heard there's a great single player mod for this, not sure if this is a long term option as I don't like online games but could imagine this as a quick single player blast could be brilliant

There is, but using the mod will potentially get your BST account suspended/banned

It won't just as long as you don't login to the online launcher at the same time as trying to run the single player server.

Thanks, I bought it and gave the single player mode a go, it was a lot of fun, got killed though

but will make sure not logged in to the launcher as well

It’s tarkov, it’s the greatest broken game ever. It will always have countless issues, lots of hackers etc

But despite all this it’s still stupidly popular so that should tell you something.

It’s never not going to be a beta, it’s never getting finished and will never be in a polished state. The devs are limited in technical talent but have created a genuinely unique and great concept.

I’d always recommend people checking it out, just know that it is brutally hard and will leave you wanting to smash your computer to pieces numerous times due to things like netcode and AI who will randomly insta kill you in all manor of stupid ways.

You don’t just play a little bit of tarkov, you go all in and no life it otherwise you’ll get nowhere. I would love to be in the position of being new to the game, it’s the best time you will play the game, so much to learn, completely new experience etc.

Start of a wipe is the best time to pick it up and one is coming in the next few days.
