One of the best fps games ever for me, even with the problems, and chuck in more intense jumps than even the best horror game as well, and this aint even a horror game and the fear of loosing your gear is real, no game comes close.

I've watched a streamer called Dr Lupo play this and he makes it look simple... However as I can tell from the inventory screen, it definitely is not a Call of Duty. I am tempted to get it, but the frustration side of things means my monitor may get killed by my large and powerful fist.

What no one ever makes clear to potential new players is that the game is INCREDIBLY GRINDY! As a new player expect to spend 100 hours plus just making level 2 traders.

Wipe time and the fabled Streets map is coming...

It's totally ruined all other shooters for me - nothing comes close to the satisfaction/frustration of this game.

Yes it's a grind, it's not a game to play "casually"

This is how i felt when me and my mates were playing it between 2016-2018 (ish).

We've all since given it a big break due to frustration with glacial development and the core issues such as terrible netcode etc never being fixed.

This will be the first wipe since then that we've started playing, hope things have improved but gut feeling tells me we are going to cursing at the game within a few hours of this wipe

Has anyone managed to launch the game yet? I'm at work for another few hours but not fancying my chances of it being anything other than a ******** to try and get into raids tonight.

What maps have it working ? Surely shoreline given how broken the main building is with all the sound dead zones on the stairs etc

Watched quite a few people playing tarkov on twitch, and there don't seem to be any problems that i have seen, and i had no problems either, all good my end.

Nice. Last few wipes I've had issues even getting into the launcher for most of the day but glad to hear its been a bit less hassle.

Don't forget to activate your free gift also, once you made your profile, i always forget.

Well had a little wander around the new map, seems nice. Really can't see myself getting back into the game though, as soon as the reality and memories of doing the same old tedious missions set in i instantly realised i could not be arsed to through that all again.

They need to make it so you can level up traders at a decent rate without doing all the boring missions that everyone has already done a thousand times over.

Can’t tell if the sound is better or worse, for now I’m struggling to tell where people are but I imagine it’s just a case of getting used to it.
