BIG bump...

Anyone else got Arena access?

Got it today - played a few games - has potential for sure.

Loading times suck, proximity voip sucks (NEEDS to be team voip)
Maps are good, it's quick and fun, has ranking system, but needs tweaked for sure.

Tried it, and thought it was pretty crap but then tarkovs entire thing is the looting and perma death, without it i don't see the point.

Have they changed the key binds for using stuff? I swear I used to be able to double click an item in my inventory to inspect it. Now when I do that, he uses it which is particularly annoying if its food or drink!

most keybinds are reset on wipe so certainly worth checking before playing

Yeah I reset most of them based on screenshots I had taken about a year ago but I can't find one to change the use item that correlates to it being double click.

Quite enjoying the new map Ground Zero, it certainly seems to be more forgiving for players in the early wipe and a bit easier to find the random loot required to upgrade the hideout!

The load times seem much quicker too for both PMC and Scav.

I've found the Scav load times to be okay as a duo but dreadful as a solo.

I haven’t had too much trouble as a Scav (around 5 mins max) but have mostly been playing on Ground Zero and a little bit of Reserve

35 minutes solo scav run wait for me, then when it gets to 35 minutes a error pops up, and i have to start again 20 minutes later, happens most of the time for me, never ever get in before like 30 minutes wait.

They have removed all sniper ammo from level 1 traders, so no running around with Mosin and iron sights for me. Back to SPT.

add in some other servers - I've got anything under 150 ping and get into scav's on reserve in under 3 minutes most of the time. Yes the ping can be around 100-120 but on a scv run who cares really.

loads of ammo lying around - not hard to find for mosin. t46 works fine in mosin

I usually apply all the European servers, anything under 100 ping really.

Shotguns seem to be working quite well for me in the early wipe, my aim is pretty terrible so they certainly help with that

You can still buy the 7.62x54mm R HP ammo from Level 1 Jaeger, not sure if it unlocks from one of his early quests though.

Best wipe in a while imo. The snow, despite being loud as hell, is a great change.

Saying that though, I am getting a lot more 1-tap deaths to the head
