Escape from Tarkov

Best wipe in a while imo. The snow, despite being loud as hell, is a great change.

Saying that though, I am getting a lot more 1-tap deaths to the head :(
I’m partially colourblind so the snow has been an excellent addition for me, allowing me to spot people much more easily.

Places like woods are usually pointless as I will never see anything :p

Lots of good changes, lots of improvements, but still once you get past the first 10 or so levels, new map is no use.

Then it's back to pretty much the same quests that have been in the game for 4/5/6 wipes.....

Lvl 20 just now but I think it's done for me now.

Ultimately, played 1500hours+ of this game, probably just burnt out on it.....

Great wipe/changes as last few have been poor, but just hammered to death over the last few years.....

Never played, sounds like it’s worth a bash?

brutal game for the casual player.... Expensive to buy....lots of the time you'll be frustrated, annoyed as to who/how you died (no replays etc, one shot kills etc)

But if you can get passed it and force yourself to "enjoy the pain and suffering" - it's probably one of the best games I've ever played.... Literally ruined every other FPS for me.... Nothing comes close to the shaky hands/adrenaline etc when your in a fight.

It's a great idea which for the most part is executed horribly by a very poor development team who don’t really have a clue what they are doing and have spent years failing to fix any of the critical issues with the game (insane amounts of cheats and hackers, worst netcode ever, completely broken positional audio to name a few)

That said the concept is so good that despite it being the most broken pos game ive ever played it’s unique enough to succeed despite all its flaws.

Its best days are long gone though imo

Pretty horrible at the minute with the "Awaiting Session Start" bug whilst attempting to do Scav runs.

I've honestly spent longer in the loading queue this wipe than actually in game :(

This is why I am struggling to get back into it, too much time in loading screens etc and not enough gameplay.
Completely agree, I wish they spent less time adding new maps / weapons / features and actually just focused on fixing the server related issues and cheating.

Takes me like 30 minutes wait in a scav que, and then its a 50/50 if i get a error and have to start again.

Definitely will be back playing if they ever manage to sort out the cheating and server issues.

Remove "auto" servers from the launcher...

Add in any servers with up to 160/180 ping.......Massive change

That way literally get into any map scav/PMC inside 3 or 4 minutes max. Got into Streets today as scav in under 2 minutes..

Plenty of videos emerging of loot being remotely hoovered up. Clearly any decent anticheat would detect that, it's maddening.
Exactly, it’s a cracking game when it works well and there’s nothing similar that really replaces it for me. Just wish BSG would iron out the recurring issues once and for all.

My main game this, currently level 34 having just completed setup and now searching for all the bosses!

Been playing for a few years now with around 5k hours in the game

It has been responsible for ruining any other FPS game for me as nothing feels like this sadly.

The cheater problem is rife however I don’t believe I have encountered that many I have had some ban reports back which is nice, but given the nature of EFT and circumstance some deaths are just unlucky.

Good luck in the raids gents!

Level 34 already? Wow. Out of interest how do you manage that? Do you have a full time job? Student? "Work" from home? Smash it every evening and weekend?

Would you believe me if I said I only play Monday nights and Wednesday nights with a few hours in the day on Thursday.

I do indeed have a full time job which is the main reason I don’t get on more.

I think I have done around 160/70 raids the benefit I have is having played the game for so long I know what items to keep, I know where to look for said items and I group tasks by map together.

It would have been less raids if players actually went to the office on factory and dorms on customs for those tasks
