Hi does anyone have an excel application like documents to go installed? Could they give me some feedback? I am looking to get either an iphone or desire for keeping track and calculating my diabetes. So need a quick snappy excel application. I believe there is only one for android but loads for iphone so hoping that the android one is good. Thanks
what about using google documents and doing it all online ? deals with .xls fine and means you could use either your phone or any computer thats nearby

Hi thanks for the suggestion. Is there a Google docs application or do you have to use the web browser?

If it's the web browser, how is it on the phone? Does it run well?

Many thanks for the help

^3 is a music app that's SO much pretty and nicer than the stock app IMO, scan this link in Goggles to find it in the market

i have been using google docs on the browser with my documents bookmarked. i dont do much editing though, mainly viewing timetables and things.

the stock web browser is very good and so are the android versions of opera/dolphin . the larger resolution on the desire/x10/nexus one give it a huge advantage over the iphone imo. in tests it seems to run as quick or quicker too

just noticed the built in office software too. maybe someone else here has tried that and can comment ?

edit- got curious actually. this of any use ? http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/health/ontrack-diabetes_lex.html reviews seem good

Anyone found anything similar to Sleep Cycle for the iPhone? My mate said it was brilliant, but I can't find the android equivalent :(

I used google nav from Reading to Watford yesterday. I'd got the route ready via wifi before I left. According to net counter during the journey I used a total of 4.5 meg. The navigation was accurate and as good as an external GPS device I've used.

i like shazam,

listens to music from radio, etc and finds the tag info.. really useful when you hear a song you like but the dj doesnt say the artist/song!

Just came across App Protector. Great little app to help you keep your phone secure or your naughty pictures from your mrs. haha :D

Spotify, though it's £9.99 pm.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth upgrading my free account to premium to use on the desire, I never got any emails with discount codes end of last year that some people seemed to get(I only found out about it in the last month as I was googling what premium code was)

griffo I've dowloded ^3, not listened to any of my music with it yet. does take a little geting used to navigate, instead of flicking to the next artist/song I kept selecting the one displayed. I let it download missing cover art, for some of them it seemed to have gotten random artwork not related to anything.

tested google maps navigation yesterday on the way back home fom slough(went to nandos), dad and sister told me to turn the sound off so not exactly sure how accurate the voice commands were(but the bits I did hear seemed to be ok) but the route seemed accurate. didn't check how much data it used tho.

The problem I've found with Last.fm (Similar in principle to Spotify, but free) is that it uses about 1mb per minute :o which gives me 1000 minutes per month, assuming I do nothing else on the internet. In reality I reckon I could use maybe 10hours of music a month without going over my allowance. Problem is that's only 20minutes per day :(

I've got spotify premium and downloaded the app, problem i have now is i've realised my musical knowledge is shocking and i can't think of any bands to stream. can the app handle other users playlists at all?
