Same here, the concept is nice and cool but for everyday texting etc...it just doesnt work for me.

Still not giving up on it but tbh if they had it where you swyped and big letters showed up a la iphone style and even the stock android keyboard then it wouldnt be so bad.

Ditto, not keen on Swype/Shapewriter at all.

I tried it but it just goes to a black screen when you open it and pressing home seems to kill it because it doesn't appear in running services. It's a shame because it looks awesome. :(

Re swype: I find slideIT to be much better in pretty much every way.

Fennec (Firefox Mobile) Pre-Alpha is available for download, you'll find the link here

I'm gunna use it today and report back on my thoughts

Do you have to be signed into that site for the download link to appear? I can't see a download link for it in the page you linked to.

Blimey! I Finally got round to looking into Swype......it a revolution for people like me with fat fingers !
Same here.I think swype is excellent.I can write a lot faster with it than I can by tapping the letters. At least I can now after I put on auto spacing so I don't have to press the space bar after every word!

Download it from you phone if you want to try it

But I don't recommend it. its got REAL potential. Problem is it also needs some serious work to get it up to scratch. I can't log into ocuk in it because I can't get the on-screen keyboard to open in a text entry field. Even holding menu doesn't do it

I like the way you show your tabs an toolbars. Scroll to the left edge of the screen and keep gong to show tabs, to the right to get to the back forward refresh and settings, up to the top to get the address bar.

Mixed bag, I don't miss the pinch to zoom, like the ideas, needs some serious polish. It's not going to replace my stock browser any time soon

Sorry if it has already been asked, but is there a way to update all the apps at once, instead of updating them individually? Bit of a pain when i get a message saying 9 updates available!

aTrackdog to manage app updates or wait until Android 2.2 is out next month as that brings autoupdating to the Market.

Had Swype for a couple of days now, th eonly thing that's annoying me is an error message popping up when I change the screen orientation.

This is version numer: 1.25.16.5612

Anyone else using this or have a better version?

I'm running version 1.25.16.5612.(t200) so same as you.

No problems at all for me. The only problem i have is when i try to type "haha" the keyboard freezes and i have to reload the message/email/note etc.

I find it quite funny tbf. :)

Oops, sorry, that should be T100. :)

Just try installing it again mate?

I had resolution issues to begin with but after a reinstall it worked and still works absolutely perfect!

--- Apps Organizer ---

This app creates a homescreen widget (icon of your choice) where you can store apps of your choice. It basically does everything you expect of an apps organiser. When launched a transparent window pops open with the app icons inside. Very clean and very cool!!

I love it. It just clears up my homescreens and allows quick and easy access to things :)
