Anyone on the Modaco ROM on their Nexus One? Keeps asking me to download an OTA update but obviously I can't on a custom ROM! Very annoying, it pops up nearly every time I unlock the screen! :mad:. Is there a way to stop the OTA updates from coming? Hopefully an updated ROM won't be far off. Either that or I might jump ship to Cyanogen...
 
ARGH! Annoying bug with minimalistic text, I plug my phone in for USB file transfers and the widget just comes up with "Problem Loading Widget" and I have to remake the whole damn thing again.

Don't install Minimalistic Text to the SD card.

I don't think I have? I remember seeing a note on Move2SD saying not to put anything with a widget onto SD so I'm pretty sure I didn't... will double check though because it would make sense that's why it's happening!

Edit: bugger, I had done! Thanks, seems so simple now! Oh and I found a modified build.prob file to stop the OTA update prompt. Is cyanogen better though?
 
I've been having problems with my Market recently.

Some apps wont update, and some wont install. I am running Oxygen 1.04 and I am running the old market as well. I have managed to get a new apk but it wont install it :(

Any ideas of what to do?

Or should I suck it up and just move over to RC6?
 
EA have just realeased Worms for about £2. Its a canny game but it doesnt run too well even on my desire z with its decent GFX card so id recommend a top end phone for this one. Also it needs multi touch to work properly.
 
It works fine on my Desire and MT works perfectly too although there's only a few MT actions like 2 finger map scrolling, pinch zooming etc so nothing complex.
 
Glad I didn't buy it tbh, I would have assumed it had online MP, which seems a no-brainer on a turn-based game like this. I'd pay twice what they're asking if it did have online MP though, scrabble is good fun online as it is, but Worms would be ultra-awesome.
 
It's still worth buying though at £2 odd, with updates you could get MP soon anyway and updates don't cost anything.

Still, MP is possible but by passing the phone around, this is how we used to play Worms back in the day on consoles anyway.
 
I grabbed the apk you posted, so I've given it a go, it's defo a really good version, but it seems hollow in 1 player.
I'll give it a go with my gf over the weekend, if she gets on with it, then I might buy the legit version from the Market.
 
Followed that modaco link which got me up and running by renaming the folder...then it asked for the 40MB download again, cancel and it works....agree and its back to stage one...hey ho got to love beta :D
