Seems to work ok for web searches, but for maps/navigation I've never had it get close to what I'm after!

Locale is what you're looking for, but it costs $9.99. It is very, very good though.

I have set some situations for location at work, and then the default... it doesnt seem to be changing to the Work setting

Have you made sure the work location is above default in the list? Priority goes from top to bottom.

Try an app called 'Bedside' I bought it yesterday ~£2 and it's been brilliant. Allows a whitelist of contacts for texts and calls, should be just what you're looking for

Does this def allow a specific whitelist for specific contacts (calls/SMS).

I looked at the site and it says it mutes everything except for calls.... I want something to mute the phone (no vibrate either) unless specific contacts from the phonebook call/text me then it sounds as normal. Having it activate and deactivate at certain times would be ideal as well

If it does, then this is ideal but I dont want to buy anything unless I know its what I want....

I liked it too but couldn't figure out how to get the Browser out of Mobile mode like you can with HTC Stock browser

Any ideas?
