If you want Free and Offline (doesn't use your Data Package like Google Maps/Navigation) then NavFree is excellent!

The Maps are Free too (all of them!! I've got UK/Ireland and the Majority of Europe on my Phone!!)

just got my HTC One

any recommendations on what apps to try or get? ive read part of thread going backwards slowly.

As this was to replace my IPOD Touch 4G which battery was on its way out.

so far:
- Draw Somthing
- IMDB
- Album Art Grabber
- instagram
- Dolphin Browser
- Nova Launcher (so want Prime now)
- wallbase

any other suggestions

I really don't understand the appeal of Instagram, can anyone explain it?

Take a nice picture, cut of the edges to make it square and then try and ruin the colours.

Google Currents for beautiful news reading but keep an eye out for Flipboard which is even more beautiful as that should reach other phones over the next few weeks as well (Galaxy S3 only for now).

HTC One... what? :p

I suppose, depending on your personal opinion, it could make pictures look more 'artsy'. However the included filters on the One series are better so it's rendered mute. The social aspect is bizarre and just full of half naked men and woman taking retarded pictures of themselves for attention.

FWIW Pool Free was unpublished from Google Play, that's why I couldn't find it, the only way to get the free version is from the thread on XDA.

That's a lot of keystrokes saved since the beta came out!

This doesn't really belong in here......but anyway :p

Can we connect our android phones to an external 3.5" hard drive 80GB NTFS via USB and be able to play back films, tv shows through the phone using bs player whilst connected to a TV via MHL?
